Sauropods are a large group of Dinosaurs, known for their long necks and large dimensions. Many of the were the largest animals that ever walk the Earth Fact: Brontosaurus is actually an Apatosaurus, paleontologists discovered a fossil of apatosaurus, at that time they didn-t know it was a young/sub adult Apatosaurus. Then later they found another of these but bigger, they haven-t found a lot of fossils yet so they named it Brontosaurus. But now they found out that Apatosaurus, infact, was the same species of brontosaurus, just younger. The reason why they named it Apatosaurus was cause it was found first.

0: 59 I'm pretty sure the discourse around whether Amargasaurus had exposed spines or a layer of flesh covering those spines is still contentious and divisive. After watching YDAW's video about Amargasaurus, I think it's more likely the neck spines weren't covered by skin and intead were either exposed bone, or covered by keratin like a bull's horns. Same goes for Bajadasaurus.

Beautiful art and music, I enjoyed it a lot. Just a teeny hint to maybe make the video better. It's really difficult to read the white text in the light -colored background. A little contrast would help a lot so we can read which species we're observing. -
Oh yeah, and - Sauro Love -

Does anyone know why titanosaurs like Argentinosaurus and Patagotitan are depicted with huge spikes on their backs?

Sauropods necks are like coconut tree trunks. Long and thin but they can withstand the harshest gusts of wind
