Bangkok is a city as well as a province and so is Jakarta. To the Thai people, Bangkok is only one small old neighborhood inside what the outsiders call present day Bangkok.
Similarly, Kuala Lumpur is a federal territory equivalent to a state. The interesting thing about KL is its metropolis (better known as the Klang Valley conurbation ) spreads beyond its border hence its surrounded by 6-7 other cities in the state of Selangor.

Filipina termasuk negara populasi penduduk terbanyak ke 2 di Asia tenggara. 150 juta lebih. Tetapi negaranya mempunyai daratan yg kecil. Makanya di bikin gedung gedung tinggi untuk apartemen.
Kalau Indonesia populasi penduduknya 248 juta lebih. Dan negaranya mempunyai daratan atau pulau2 besar. Makanya Indonesia tidak banyak gedung tinggi karna memilih bikin rumah dari pada tinggal di apartemen.

Just the 3 City in Malaysia has the most tall buildings or skycrapper, that's mean in Malaysia Borneo. Which is Sabah and Sarawak don't have it. Even though this two state have potential to build there own city. And the resources from this two state been use to make peninsular City better. I'm feel sad for it. This we call unfair. Very unfair. Being Malaysian, but still living in the poor city.

All of these cities in the Philippines in this video is located within National Capital Region that separates into a local government unit. If you combine all of this as a Metropolitan Manila, definitely they placed in a top notch. Imagine that in a small Luzon island in the world, a one metropolis is booming.

i surprise to see that manila actually have a lots of tall building but why the slumps area still exist till now? gov should think to build low cost flat house to accommodate the people stay at slump's area then after that manila will have more land to build the new city.

Some of my favourite cities that I have been to are in the ASEAN area: Bangkok, KL, Singapore, Jakarta and Manila. Also been to Johor Bahru and Georgetown too but would love to visit Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Surabaya. But the Philippines cities are nice

I'm Filipino and been to Kuala Lumpur 11 times. KL in terms of infrastructure, railways, expressways, accessibility, cleanliness and safety is far beyond manila. You can compare it in middle eastern cities.
