In this project I will show you how to combine an ESP32-CAM with an ordinary security camera housing in order to create an online security camera. That means I will show you how to use the ESP32-CAM board in order to take pictures and then I will show you how to integrate it into home assistant. There we can then create an automation in order to take pictures when an intruder triggers an alarm. At the end I will then show you how to put all of the components inside a security camera housing

Hello Sir. i have seen a video where mjpeg images are used to make something like video then remote access it using port forwarding. I request you to make a remote access ESP 32 Cam, where real time videos can be seen and it can be also stored. Probably it needs a local server to host then may have multiple clients. I really request you to look into it.

If only video didn't require so much space to store at decent resolution, I would have cameras everywhere. I just don't have the storage capacity, and I've seen a low resolution security camera obscure our ability to determine which customer is which at work, and I work at a large home improvement retailer with a blue theme.

Hi Scott, the video is nice is informative. I like the idea of having a inflated camera but could be a loot more useful if it could also record. My main issue is that you plugged the camera in that exposed outlet. If someone comes into the house and sees the wire they could just unplug it.

GreatScott! you have some servos, some motors, vesc so I have an idea for another episode: )
You can try to do a direct drive RACING WHEEL!
it could be also great episode for diy or buy, but commercial DDwheel is expensive so maybe just diy: )

Can you make a video on dc to ac converter? i know its silly but can we achieve good efficiency with a rectifier and a dc to ac converter. rather than taking apart things and finding where to hook up dc on a ac device.

Again with a very informative video. I literally watched all of your videos just in 1 week from start to end. Just keep it up man. Very very nice video. Keep making such videos.

I really enjoy these DIY projects that you produce for us, I haven't the knowledge yet to build any of them, but they will be in the back of my mind for future knowledge.

I made this project with a Raspberry pi zero and with motioneye. Raspberry pi zero is more expensive, but you can get email alert when motion is detected.

Yes indeed! I liked it very much and might give it a try to do the same in my workshop. Great video. As usual.
Happy holidays and keep on tinkering!

Can you intergrate an old smartphone to the system? Firstly, you can add more features, secondly, you can reuse old devices, which can reduce e-waste
