Could you build your own underground dog fence? Both the box that emits the transmission Through the Wire and the dog collar itself or the receiver.
The only reason I would like you to break these down is because I really wish that there was a system setup for tone vibration and could maybe even send an alert to my phone if the dog crossed the boundary or was within the warning area for too long. But also I see very many cheap underground dog systems along with wireless fence dog systems. I would just like to see how some people might be able to make those better or if I got my hands on equipment how I could make something more specified to what I want to use it for or how I want to use it.
It'd be quite a project and it's probably work just buying the item. But for example there is a sports dog underground fence and collar receiver. This system also has the option to have a controller that you carry in your hand. That way went out of the house or walking around you can still use it to tone vibrate or even shock the dogs slightly if wanted. I pretty much want to eliminate the shock. Primarily because I see that the vibration setting in my experience offense cares or shocks the dog and stops the dog better than a shock would. So I see no need to go up into the shocking but I would like to see the ins and outs of a system that would have the controller the underground dog fence and the collar receiver. Also when using the shocking setting the batteries ran out a lot faster obviously.

Amazing project. Maybe a balancing bot for an upgrade (wink wink? It is fascinating how affordable these sbcs become. One thing that always bothers me, when I see people designing mobile robot project, or rather not bother, but simply curious: why do people use dc motors without quadrature encoders?

The thing about AI is that it's not creating an algorithm to compare the current image to the ones you fed it before, but instead creating a model that can generalize what blocked and free means, even for images or places that it has never seen before, that's the awesome thing with AI

I recommend the courses from Coursera on Deep Learning. They are really helpful!
At first I did not understood how it worked but, with the courses I realized the tremendous potencial that it has for many aplications. It merges nicely with mechatronics and electronics too.

Cool! It's amazing that people from all domains get interested in Machine Learning. Every domain of activity can benefit greatly from using these algorithms, but sometimes we underestimate the domain-specific knowledge needed to understand and solve the problem.

Too bad it can't learn for itself. I mean, trying, colliding and taking pictures of where not to go. You know?

Dude! You really need to get deeper in neural networks, they're amazing! I've seen it do crazy stuff, like generating music from the ground up from nothing (It generates waveforms, wich is a really complex task) and generating images!

the real reason robots cant have real emotions is u dont imedaitly have them u grow them in a 20 year span u are raised by ur parents try raising a ai for year that has no knoledge

Thank you for this honest overview of the Jetson. It has completely shown no AI. What a pity. Only shows that the definition of what we are to call AI has seriously lowered its expectations
