5 Arduino WiFi Module? ESP8266 mini Tutorial/Review MACHINE_BUILDER: Amazing video! I loved it! I'm thinking of buying 5m of RGB led strips to backlight my desk with, and I'm going to connect it to an Arduino. The Arduino will act as a tcp server on my home network, and my desktop will connect to that IP address via a python program, which also runs a webpage hosted on my home wifi, that I can use with my phone, to control the RGB colour from my phone: ) hope that makes sense lol

Make a weather station with a UV index that does a forecast lookup for your current location and also acts as a clock that has access to your Google calendar to remind you of upcoming appointments etc.
This would be handy to be able to plug into your car with a lithium battery to power it in sleep mode when the car ignition is off and a built in lithium charging module can charge the battery when you are on the road.

I have a weather station. The display connects to the weather station through a wireless link. However the display need to be connected to a PC through usb. There it has a program that needs to be running to sync the data to weatherunderground. com etc. I'm using windows server at the moment. Could I use something like this to connect to my wifi and sync it directly to the website and use the power from the usb?

I took off the tape of breadboard, and i cut connection so I could still connect those. Ofcourse you need good hands cause one little oopsie and entired row is oofed. Belive me, i think cutting those things at breadboard is better choise than making the idk what its called but yeah.

Sir, one question. Can the ESP8266 work in an industrial environment for a long period of time? I am using it in fridge. For temperature log by using its GPIO. Or any recommendations instead of esp?

I would like to create a device that will shut off my 3d printer when finished printing using the heated bed temperature. Can this be done using this board and if so, how to do it. Thank you.

Anyone finding this. Just get the NodeMCU ESP8266 module. Its a one dollar pricer but it has everything inside it. Voltage regulator, microUSB for uploading arduino code. its just better.

Instead of doing a home made adaptor you could just removed that black plastic thing on bottom and bend those legs. I found out that on web and wanted to share with anyone in here.
