Oh, the Vietnam struggle for independence went from at least 1919 to eventual US defeat in 1975, more horrific tales of betrayal by US and France, US paying Frances costs of fighting against Vietnamese independence from 1945 to 1954, US blocked free elections in the period 1954 until 1956 because the Vietnamese fighting for their freedom would have won 80% of the vote - per US President Eisenhower. Ho Chi Minh, leader of the independence movement from 1919 until their liberation in 1945, was more than George Washington was to Americans, he had been the face and spokesperson of their struggle for 55 years, and that is why the US blocked free elections, he would have won.

Incorrect history of China struggle for freedom from Western powers. Very very incorrect and incomplete history of Vietnam -- the US War of Terror on the Vietnamese People in which we killed 2, 000, 000 to 3, 000, 000 Vietnamese people, poisoned their soil with Agent Orange so food would not grow (and poisoned US soldiers too, and burnt people alive with Napalm -- jelly like mixture of gasoline that is dropped on villages, fields, etc. burning, sticks to bodies and burns them up. US planted millions of land mines, many of which are still in the ground -- which are illegal, but US won't sign treaty outlawing them.

Ok here u go: the Balfour Declaration, (in November 2, 1917, statement of British support for the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people. It was made in a letter from Arthur James Balfour, the British foreign secretary, to Lionel Walter Rothschild, 2nd Baron Rothschild (of Tring)

Greece and Turkey joined NATO same date. You have errors in dates on your map. For example greek civil war was between 1946(1943)-1949, not 1949 only as in your map. In your map Turkey joined NATO before Greece which is also wrong. These are errors I could detect immediately. I am sure there are plenty more errors. Why dont you controll facts better? Does it take too much time?

I think it's an important factor in the ussr collapse to mention the chernobyl disaster. This was not only costly financially but a heavy blow to thier image and power when they called for aid. some historians believe chernobyl was the beginning of the end of the ussr by many factors of the huge strain it put on the Soviet Union

This south asian guy does not like the US. The US did not INVADE Vietnam. good grief. The US's first involvement was military assistance advisors (what is now know as Special Forces. Troops were not there in any level similar to an invasion until 1965. The US sent the 1st Cav.

5: 44 The US didn't invade Vietnam. They were asked by the South Vietnamese government to send troops to defend against communist guerillas (Viet Cong) and against invading North Vietnamese Armies who crossed the DMZ and infiltrated via Laos and Cambodia.

The United states did not surrender in vietnam. There was an armistice negotiated and the US left voluntarily in 1973. The ARVN lost the war in 1975. you should try to be a little less communist and a little less obvious in your american hate.

Very good summary, kinda misses the spot of how badly the cold war affected Latinamerica. The amount of civil wars supported by both factions for 40 years was crazy. There was almost a conflict in every single country in latin america.

for some reason after WWII Greece and Cyprus is neutral, instead of the Western Block. I don't think that Spain was with the Western Block at the time. I guess it's too difficult to show all these things in a map

Great videos. There are some minor things that aren't quite accurate, but overall your videos are a great brief overview of historical events.
