This compilation of our Napoleonic Wars series covers the period from 1809 to the Emperor's abdication in 1814. Along the way we encounter the horrors of the French occupation of Spain and Portugal, Napoleon's disastrous invasion of Russia, and the great struggle for German in 1813. The series concludes with arguably Napoleon's finest campaign - his doomed defence of Paris in 1814

Not Censorship, its only a Shadow Ban bro. Code word Dump is what QAnon does, hence Trumps at the time odd phrasing of ya know While the falsity could be determined? Who TF put you, Mark Zuckerberg in charge of the Ministry of Truth? Unfortunately we did. Remember early 2010s when FB was where you could go to connect w your friends?

This is just SO good. Unbelievable the level of detail and professionalism! You guys have made me absolutely obsessed with Napoleon Bonaparte, a figure from history that I previously had little to no interest in.
I just ordered a bunch of books on his life, politics and effects on Europe.
THANK YOU!

The French Revolution comes before Napoleon's rise. So I guess I'll have to watch that. This war is interesting though because we might see a new figure emerging post Lockdowns of 2020. So we have to be wary of a Totalitarian figure or Perhaps it's one fringe group of Radical power Hungry Elites.

If Admiral Villeneuve, instead of entering Ferrol, had contented himself with rallying at the Spanish squadron, and had sailed for Brest to join Admiral Gantheaume, my army would have landed; it would have been all over with England.

It''s unfortunate that this narrative keeps casting Napoleon as a villain and the other empires as liberators. Hogwash. Monarchists hated and feared what Napoleon stood for, the ideals of the French Revolution (like his secularization of laws and liberation of Jews.

I changed my like to a dislike because whoever wrote the script doesn't know what anarchy is. Unfortunate, look up Barcelona during the Spanish civil war or the Greek word meaning or just ask an anarchist. You'd be surprised.

If you thought Napoleon's army was burdened down with stacks of looted women's clothing from Moscow, just wait until NATO moves in. they're bringing their own as well but they won't say no to as many more layers as they can put on.

What a nightmare to have been a young man in any of the armies. Enjoying the glory of dying from diseases along with most of their friends. Human life, rarely worth more than dirt, sacrificed over and over for millenia by a wealthy 1%.

I was furious when Marshall marmont surrendered to the allies. And I almost broke into tears when napoleon said goodbye to his old guard. Too bad he didn't get his glorious death on the battlefield defending France! Vive l empereur!

Britain: Right guys, this time instead of acting like a Karate movie where we attack the insanely skilled opponent one at at time, why don't we attack all at once and just keep kicking him in the back?

Imagine living in those times. Not living there but in that time on the other side of the world and it being months before you hear of the outcomes or who's attacked who. I imagine lots of fear

Trying to bring science, education and civilization to Spain has been proven a lost cause for centuries and as usual the British helped the evil side to keep people in abject poverty and religion.

I'm not sure I fully understood how brutal 1700/1800s Europe was. The whole place must have just run-with-blood, year-after-year. A video showing the timelapse of 'borders' would be fascinating.

18 years of War. The French people had it with Bonaparte.
Imagine missing your sons birth while on campaign and later watching him get pressed into the Army. Forget it.

Thousands died for a man who at the end said it was like a dream. Wars are so pointless. People fight and die for those assholes at the top and in the end it means nothing.

if Napoleon was alive today he would probably be like mel Gibson, or john Travolta, or Danny Trejo, or 50 cent in his prime, or like Mike Tyson or something, IRON MIKE

Those Dutch engineers who made the bridges across the Berezina river were MVPs. Could've been even worse for Napoleon and his army without their bravery and sacrifice.

spian doest get enough credit for how hard it its been to conquer. Rome struggled, Carthage, Big Nap struggled, the civil war was a complete shit show lol

Is this the same Major Sharpe that killed three dragoons and saved Wellingtons life? The Same Major Sharpe that claimed the French gold Eagle at Talavera?

Those pieces of art though. I always wonder what is the story behind them. Are they painted from soldier who were also artists? From descriptions? Both?
