The Trail of Tears refers to the forced displacement of what white American colonizers called The Five Civilised Tribes. Over twenty years between 1830 and 1850; somewhere around 60, 000 to 100, 000 Native Americans were forced from their homes into the land the new Government had decided would be Indian Territory. During their removal, countless died from exposure, disease, and starvation. Their unnecessary deaths are now seen as a near-genocidal event, and the route they walked and died upon is forevermore known as The Trail of Tears. Who were the Five Civilised Tribes? The five civilized tribes refers to the major Native American nations that originally lived in Americas Deep South. These were the Cherokee, Chicasaw, Choctaw, Muscogee Creek and Seminole tribes

Not to be holy roller but in the face of God love has no color. Jackson was obviously a racist.
It's a shame to believe that nobody gave a damn to preserve humanity of a people so in touch with the earth and so intelligent with survival skills and holistic medicine that they could benefit from getting to know them. The government reparations of money doesn't dry the tears and return the innocent souls to their land.

Europeans are the real life equivalent of the empire and sith lords. Replace the Indigenous with themselves, take parts of the cultures and act as if they are the creatures of said cultures. Before firearm they weren't even a factor (thanks China for that. Indigenous groups around the world were way to trusting and paid for it in blood.

Jackson was an evil man yet I am forced to see his face on the money that I earn daily. He should be removed from currency and coin
