Homo Naledi does it form part of our earliest ancestors or is it simply a different species, a close relative alongside our ancestors? Can we with any credibility and surety say that Homo Naledi formed part of the evolution process of modern humans or was it merely a different species within the Homo genome, which followed its own parallel branch? These questions lead to a far greater question, one about the very origins of our species and the credibility of human evolution as we have come to know it have we in fact evolved at all in the way that scientists claim that we have, or is the story of our origins vastly different to anything that has been propagated? As we learn about Homo Naledi, we will attempt to formulate some answers to these questions, or at the least theories that could hopefully one day lead us to those answers. Let us commence our journey of discovery by unveiling who/what Homo Naledi is

Here's a theory. Maybe this creature was nocturnal and spent the daytime hours hiding in the cave. With its ability for climbing, coupled with an ability to navigate in low light environments it was able to explore and navigate the depths of the cave.
In summary, a creature spending a great deal of time in the cave, add to that climbing ability and being comfortable in dark environments due to their nocturnal nature. Suddenly finding individuals down there doesn't seem so unlikely.
Add to this predentary pressure from cats or other humanoids that can pursue Naledi into the cave system. Then the remote depths of the cave become a natural refuge where predators couldn't or wouldn't follow.
I'm not saying I believe this, but if outside-the-box thinking is invited, then give this some consideration?

The discoveries in the last twenty years have just about negated every paleoanthropology theory doctorites have built their careers on. To accept these new facts that demolish a life's work is not something that is warmly embraced by those affected. The resistance to these facts and the poor dissemination of this data makes efforts in this field a daunting one.

Just read Genesis and all other ancient cultures belief systems throughout history.
Modern science is dumbfounded because rational thinking doesn't compute in this realm. .

Maybe those people were jailed & left there to die. Thats why they were in the cave also lol we would look like that if we had no access to shaving!
