The Americans have long been thought to be the latecomers to the habituation of modern humans. But what if that wasnt true, and humans were in North and South America tens of thousands of years before we thought they were. What kind of lives did they lead, where did they come from, where did they go, why arent they still here? These are huge questions and maybe we will find some answers as we trace history back as far as we can go. About 13 thousand years ago in the fossil record, there appears a series of archaeological evidence pointing toward a culture that existed in North America, Central America, and even into South America. This culture was largely identified due to the type of spearhead point used in hunting, this specific type of spearhead became known as a Clovis Point, named for a town near the initial discovery. First found in the 1930s, the Clovis became the prevalent contenders for the first humans to come to the Americas. It was thought that before the Clovis there were no humans, or any previous branch of our evolutionary tree, on either the North or South American continents. This theory became so popular it was thought fact, and became eventually known as the Clovis-first hypothesis

I would like to know more about the skull they found in Brazil in 1980, as this was sent to England to be reconstructed. When it was finished it resembled a Australian Aboriginal woman. Since then and the advancement in DNA research, they have found people in southern Argentina that have a DNA which 50% traces back to the Clovis and 50% to Australian Aboriginals. Before they had found the skull, I had heard that they found cave drawings that were dissimilar to the Clovis cave drawing, but were closely associated with those of the Australian Aboriginals. By the way the skull they founded dated back 13, 000 years and the people with the DNA which has a 50% match with the Australian Aboriginals have a verbal history told to every boy when they turn 16 years of age. I have heard more, but will leave this here for now.

In Virginia they found spear points that were of a style that was used in France during the middle of the last ice age. Material around them was carbon dated to that time, and the theory is that they could have been people who would hunt seals off the coast of Northern Europe in boats and some of them could have been caught in melt water streams from the glaciers and transported towards Nova Scotia and made their way south into Virginia. But because they were isolated, would probably have died out with little possibly of offspring, and then thousands of years later, native Americans made their way across the Bering land bridge. South Americans very likely island hopped across the pacific, because the oceans were quite a lot lower at the end of the ice age and more island were exposed.

Only bones worth mentioning that Finland has stumbled upon are of 1440 born Matti Haapoja a close relative of mine who was robber serial killer, after his eventful death in finnish prison which i do not go into but it was by own hand in the end and to happy thoughts finnish medical students wanted badly to study criminals so Matti was sliced up Indiana Jones style which can be seen since Finns kept Matti's skeleton for 100y to people to gawk at finnish criminal museum

Great video, short but informative. Danish DNA scientist Eske Willerslev has proven that people in the Amazon were related to and probably came from Australia long before the Clovis culture. Aboriginal Australians left Africa about 24. 000 years before the other migrations which later populated the rest of the world, and this Aboriginal DNA is strongly present in the people of the Amazon.

I have always thought people came to America more than 100, 000 years ago. I have seen the evidence and i think today's scientists in general do not want to accept anything other than their decades old theories. Science is nothing more than theory. New discovery threatens status Quo and that frightens traditional science.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say that one day, Neanderthal remains in the Americas will be found. If AMH could make it to the Americas, so could Neanderthals.

Theres also theories that Polynesian/South Pacific Islanders made there way to South America thousands of years ago, I dont believe they just stopped at Easter Island.

You cant go against the Out of Africa dogma, as its the only truth which supersedes any other facts even if they are correct and verifiable.

I believe there was more than one ice dammed lake. I also believe that mankind was on this continent long long ago.

This was really great! Love it! I think historians have everything all wrong and maybe even backwards.
