Cixin in his three body problem in vivid detail tells the (fictional) No longer living of a physics professor for supporting fascist reactionary western ideas (relativity.
He's put on trail in the sports fields of a university that has a highschool attached to it. The university that he teaches at. The students scream and yell at him, accusing if working with the west because he met western academics before the revolution. His wife, desperately trying to save her own neck goes ons stage and outs on a great display claiming he's a traitor etc.
Professor even recounts hoe smart it was of her to simply rename western ideas and pretend like they were socialist ideas (she's a sociology professor or something)
Eventually 4 highschool girls beat him to the other side with their belt buckets. And his students watch as it happens stopping it only after he dies.
His wife then breaks into manic laughter losing her mind. While her daughter rushes to the stage crying for her father. The crowd weirded out by the wife etc starts leaving now the spectacle has ended.
His daughter obviously doesn't want to be with her mom so she goes to see her favorite professor. Only to find that she has just committed sudoku with pills.
The first scene in the book is this idealistic commie girl from a radical faction fighting against the mainlime commies that the young students felt were betraying the revolution. She is murdered, shot from the roof and falls on the spikes of a gate.
She was the daughter of thst academic and also wrote an entire confession / witness statement on her father being a traitor.
So yeah. horrible stuff. Shame that the same author supports the uyghur genocide.

Historians are stating at least 40 million perished in China during Maos rule. Some believe it is as high as 80 million plus. They still create propaganda today against Japans role during WW2 about the atrocities they committed in China. Comparing between Imperial Japan and Communist China, Japans actions seem mediocre compare to the devastation brought about by Maos Communism. When a representative from Japan went to China to visit Mao, he apologized for Japans invasion and brutality in China. Mao instead thanked the Japanese Representative by saying if it wasnt for Japan the Communist would have lost to the Nationals. Go figure.

If you think race doesn't count in China's system you're just fooling yourself. Communist controlled, they just don't allow it to be reported or discussed, though they're happy to discuss the problems of others. Just because they don't allow their own brand of racism to be talked about, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist or happen regularly. You might want to look into what they've just been doing to the Uighurs in China this past couple of years while Joe Biden sat on his ass and pretended it wasn't happening.

Your entire pretext based on the u. s is wrong, firstly you conflate social credit with actual proven credit based on people's history of payments, secondly you must not have been around for the past 50 years in the u. s, sure race can play apart on if your approved, however being white is the race that will likely get you disapproved. Corporations are clamoring to accept minorities, hell Harvard even has a lower entrance score for blacks than whites or Asians, hence all the lawsuits against Harvard at the moment.

In a lesson to give caution on how dangerous communism and indoctrination are, a high-school teacher who was a child during the cultural revolution told us of how he watched 4 high school aged kids drag his father outside and beat him to death because as an old man, he represented the old ways and was too dangerous to leave alive. His killers were never brought to justice and my teachers mother forbid him from telling the law out of fear they'd be shot

Any time citizens truly arent allowed to or are penalized for criticizing a government or its policies. that handicaps the country. Criticism and being able to state that yes, this is a problem is how things get improved. iff you dont allow that, everyone is just forced into the bizarre dictator in charge system of just lies that everything is perfect, best in world, with no way to fix anything.

Credit score is not a social credit system, its only something used to track your payments and make people stay in bad contracts
It doesnt actually effect any other aspects.
But even getting a job some employers use it during a new hire. And unpaid debts look bad, despite the need for income to pay those debts
Still its not used as you portray.

Chinas goal is utopia. In order to get there many will be persecuted. All must be in lock step and so any deviation will be crushed. Our nation is the opposite. It doesn't trust itself so we have power distributed or some sort of checks and balances. we don't believe in a utopia but in basic rights for the individual to pursue their own happiness.

This is why China will not reform at least for generations to come. It may become a larger version of North Korea but the ruling group has locked down absolute control of its citizens, any rebellion or even reform will be met with the barrel of a gun or tank and nothing can change that but reform from the top and that is not going to bappen

I think America is pretty bad sometimes, and it is yeah, but not compared to guatemala where my mom is from and i was raised for a while. But goddamn would being forced to move to China suck ass. My credit score would be so low simply because I'm introvert and hate dealing with people if I don't have too.

I clicked on About and it doesn't say much about your organization. I would like to know more especially in this day and age where its hard to get an objective depiction of events in history. I often look at a variety of sources that have some credibility but its often mired by ideology and presuppositions.

every dynasty in china collapsed in history. for the ccp, it's a matter of time. at the current rate, it doesn't look like it has much time left. problem is the chinese people - not enough brave people dare stand up to oppose the ccp. such a weak culture as everyone just desires more wealth.

You cannot say Americas debt system is the same as a social credit system, one is based off poor financial responsibility that gages your ability to be successful fiscally, the other guides your entire destiny based off the subjective opinions people have on you and your morality.

It's crazy that China went from Imperial Dynasty, to failed Democracy, Military Dictatorship and finally Communism within 50 years. I think they're still evolving to another type of government but will still use the same Imperial Dynasty ruling format to manage it's population.

Nice try on the race based social credit in the US existing. Show the proof, not opinions, mathematical proof. JFK signed that away in the early 60s. If you are referring to Affirmative Action, and thousands of cases of abuses against people of non-color, each year. You have a point.

Hope yall know the UN and leader of many countries including the US have held up China as the way to be and envy their power over the people.
Early in the video the narrator said China had the right and the power. Well they have the power. But not the right. It cant last.

I see a lot of parallel similarities in How the youth in China were used to make changes for the worse and how that applies to the United States and what its doing today with the youth by brainwashing them into A dystopian type of thinking that they think is a better democracy.
