Well, at least today there is plenty of Mexican, or Latin American blood in the USA, meaning, by being Legit Americans, the great majority of Latin Americans due to the Mix of Cultures and DNA between American (Prehispanic) People and Europeans, now many more People in the US have Legit American DNA, or Blood. So, the land may change names, but the American blood prevails, and for ever will, the mixing of Cultures and DNA is inevitable, this time of Anglo Settlers and Hispanic (Ibero) Americans, little by little becoming ONE American People.

This video is very sided with the US and with the liberals. It doesn’t explain that Texan independence was searched because of the southern slavers and that in Mexico slavery was forbidden. It also forgets to say that Juarez had become a dictator and that Diaz searched for the peace between liberals (his party) and conservatives too, looking for the benefits and progress for the country. He did stayed more than he should in power, but he didn’t do anything any other world leader of his times wouldn’t do.

It still reflects a lot of the U. S. perspective on Mexico’s history, but surprisingly, it’s one of the most accurate videos I’ve seen on the subject, especially considering it was made by an American.
Thanks for using a map of Mexico showing the states. That really helps to understand why Texas’s claim over the territory of other Mexican states made it impossible for Mexico to recognize its independence.

Finally someone mentioned the 1982 economic crisis, It's crazy how so many historical sumaries skip it because that event is practically the origin of modern Mexico. Most of the country's modern problems branched out from there, most notably migration to the United States and the rise of organized crime.

Since 1547 it has been a place for the people to bow low and the hungry to destroy for power and profit. I have a feeling that a lot of details were missed in the Mexico American war. Why did America have the need to invade the capital unless they were the aggressors. Then it was the French. History knows that the Spanish erased 99% of Aztec history

Correction; Texas had not and could not have gathered forces to fight Mexicos Santanas Forces. So. USA general Huston with USA forces invaded Mexico and defeated Santana. Truth be revealed.

This is a pretty good summary of Mexico’s history. But Maximilian did not rule the country for 6 years: he arrived in Mexico in May of 1864 and was executed on June 19th, 1867.

There were 4 rebellions of Texas before 1835. . History revisionism, that's you. No mention of the 20 constitutions and 40 military ques before 1861. . Bad history.
