Just wish you went into more depth how the Filipino rebels lost to the governing US colonials.
It was not just internment camps and mass executions by the US that defeated the rebels.
Infighting among various Filipino rebels and warlords like Aquinoldo were tyrannical and brutal towards their own people was what ultimately made the US win. Aquinoldo himself was betrayed to the US by his own faction because he killed too many of his own supporters. Once in US custody, he collaborated with the US colonials because if his own people were not going to let him rule the Philippines then he refused to let any other Filipino revolutionary rule it.
Also, the US won the majority of the Filipino populace by offering more liberal rights than any of the Filipino rebels factions. For instance, Filipino news paper columnists could criticize the governing US without fear of being shot. While Filipino columnists who criticized any of the rebels often got shot by those rebels they criticized. The governing Americans encouraged Filipino citizens to form assemblies vote and elect members while Filipino rebels groups discouraged civilians from exercising their political rights through intimidation and murder. Though not always enforced, Filipino property was respected on officially on paper and the right to due process was advocated by the Americans, while the rebels made no such accomodations. By the end of the rebellion, more Filipinos were fighting for the Americans than against the Americans.

As a Filipino myself, I would agree with a lot of the information here except the Marcos section.
1) economy going down was mainly due to the middle east war which caused a lot of country's economies going down. The US increased interest rate which screwed over our loans.
2) I could say with full confidence Jabidah Massacre was fake. No names of the victims and no families of the supposed victims came out to support this claim even after 1986 when Marcos hating became popular.
3) no, there was no evidence whatsoever that Corazon Aquino won that election. There were 2 ballot counting organizations at that time. The official, COMELEC, counted the ballots at 100% and declared Marcos the clear winner by a huge margin. The other, NAMFREL counted the ballots at 69% and said Cory was slightly in the lead. 100% vs 69%. 100% is more reliable.
There were people who came out that said they couldn't take the cheating going on but there was no specifics or further evidence to support their claims. They could very well be paid actors.
4) Ninoy's assassins are not known until now. Both his wife and his son became presidents and neither bothered to investigate who really the assassin was.

Awesome vid that I'll be sharing. I remember tensions going down above my head, helicopters flying everywhere, in 86, though at the time I didn't understand what was going on. I was just a kid then. My parents didn't feel safe, even living in Magallanes Village Makati, so my mom flew to guam for several months to give birth to my brother. I never knew she was pregnant. My dad was not allowed to leave the country free will.
I have my suspicions that a pair of girl/boy siblings, possibly twins, whom I went to school with, are the grand children of Carlos Garcia, as I went to school with a kid who claimed to be the grand nephew of Ferdinand Marcos, another kid currently holds office on Palawan, and another I went to school with is a local oil company heiress. Ian De Leon was a friend of mine among other outstanding local Pinoys and international kids who are children of distinguished position holders among other nations.
It would be awesome to make a video about the financial history about the Philippines and how the central bank corrrupted it. That'll really blow the minds of the Pinoys. Pretty soon their coins will all be made of steel or aluminum.

Folks these history are in parts inaccurate and I assume made in the U. S. A. the Spanish lost all it's colony in the Philippines, defeated by the K. K. K. (Andres Bonifacio 1896) and the Philippines constitution was already written in 1898 (K. K. K. Emilio Aguinaldo) and Fort Santiago is not the whole Philippines it's a small district of the old Manila, SM Mall of Asia is bigger than it The Americans didn't fought the Spanish inland they fought them at sea but they fought the K. K. K. Filipino revolutionaries during the Filipino American War raging in the 1900's and effectively ended in 1902, well sort of, still fighting for independence. There are more inaccuracies early in the video which I rather not mentioned that required to be corrected and make no mistake none of the Philippines Islands or part of it where territory of China land or sea OK. Love it or Hate it's all the same to me

Cory Aquino did not win the snap election! That's why the coup de ta was needed to remove Marcos! Videos and audio recordings surfaced about his military advisor urging him to use violence against the agitator hiding behind peaceful protectors, but he adamantly said no!
His family was not evacuated by the USA! They were kidnapped and exiled to Hawaii and refrained from returning, so the USA could install a puppet Aquino government!

Actually the Spanish refused to surrender their last remaining colonies in The Philippines and Cuba even though by the 19th century the Spanish Empire was a skeleton of its former self and they only surrendered to the US not only because the US gave $20 million to Spain but also because to the Spanish point of view, it was better to surrender the islands to the White Americans to the Brown Native Filipinos.

Technically not all alipins were what we'd call slaves. Some were more akin to commoners or servants of a master, and recieved proper treatment.
