I could make a thousand -it's never mentioned in the puzzle- excuses to break each of these puzzles. How do you know it was a truck driver walking on the side of the road, easier answer is it was the police going against the flow. you cannot argue that the two boys are also on the same bank but it was never mentioned in the puzzle that there are no other people on the other side waiting to cross. It was never mentioned in the puzzle that there is only one boat. It was never mentioned.

How Can A Blind Man Know Exactly What Half Pills To Keep? Have You Thought About it? All Pills Are inside The Bottle Remember? Even if He Cut it into equal half, there's no way he will know what color to keep and what color to put in his mouth.
There is only One (1) Boy Shown on Your Drawing. But You mentioned Two (2) Boys.
If it never mention that the boys are NOT on the same side,
You Should NOT include Drawing At All. Your Drawing Ruined Your Intelligence.

there's a solution for riddle 3 even if the 2 boys are on the same side of the river:
One of them crosses the river, and then looks for any person who needed to cross to the opposite side. then the other boy will have the boat back and will be able to cross.
What? far fetched? As far fetched as expecting a blind man to cut four pills exactly by half, with his bare hands (or even using a knife, would be hard to achieve an exact 50% cut); )

Red fish is wrong. You need to remove only 2 of the 'red fish' to bring the count to 196. THIS is now 98% red fish out of 200.
2 boys crossing river would be. ONE boy crosses and comes back. then the other boy crosses and comes back. 'BOTH' boys crossed the river!
This plane ride question is VERY SLOPPY!
Flight B leaving London, flying slower, [until they meet] would always be closer.

There are mistakes in the puzzles:
3: it is also never mentioned that there is just 1 boat
4: do both planes fly at the same height? Because that increases distance. Never mentioned
5: it is never mentioned that the police car is driving on the right side of the road. It might also be that the truck driver is driving the right side and the police car on the wrong side

Puzzle #3: -It's never mentioned that they were on the same side of the river- - By that same logic, it's never mentioned that there wasn't anyone else around, so if they're on the same side, the first boy crosses the river, then asks someone who wants to go on the other side to use the boat, and then the other boy crosses the river too.

I suppose that the question asked about red fish is vague, question should be. How many red fish should be removed from total red fish to make 98 % of red fish remaining. You are asking directly about how many red fish must be removed to make the percentage of 98? 98 % of what? total or only total red fish. Specify clearly.

1. Cut the pills in half and take 1 half from each of the cut pills.
2. 100. Now 198 red plus 2 = 200 and 98 red plus 2 = 100.
3. Boy 1 crosses the river and returns, then boy 2 does the same. They have crossed the river.
4. When they meet, they will be the same distance from London.
5. He is walking.

It could be done even if the two boys were on the same side. Boy A could cross the river. Then cross the river back again to boy B. Then, boy B cross the river. Sure, they are in the opposite sides now, and boy A did not change his original location, but technically, both of them crossed the river by the same boat.

You know, some of these are fake, trick questions as noted by many in the comments that rely on people making assumptions that make the question a valid problem. Like the two boys crossing the river. It wouldn't be a puzzle to solve if they weren't on the same side of the river.

It-s also never mentioned in the puzzle that crossing in order to stay on the other side is their goal, so technically if they were on the same side, the first boy can cross and come back and then the second boy can cross and come back and therefore both boys would have crossed.

puzzle 3: if boys on the same side of the river then one can sit in the boat and flow diagonally to opposite flow of the stream of water, when he reaches opposite side just put the boat diagonally and with flow of the river the boat reaches this side.

when the planes mean, wouldn't the one coming from london be closer, since when the planes meet is the question and not when they pass, so they meet once the tips of the planes are near each other, the difference is minor though

3: 20 Actually plane B would be closer, but only by the length of the plane since it will be right in between the other plane and London.
If this doesn-t quite make sense, send me a message and I can clarify further!

I'm thinking another possible solution for the -truck driver- puzzle is that the truck driver is going in reverse. A lot of these questions seem to hinge on fuzzy definitions or mistaken assumptions.

Concerning #1 and #3 (and obviously #5): The actual puzzle is to find confidence/proof that the puzzle is impossible to solve with the information given _or presumably implied. _

The blind man could simply cut all the pills in half being careful to put one-half of each in a separate container. He wouldn't have to hold one-half of a pill in his mouth.

Pills cannot be broken into two parts! Tablets can be, common sense. Pills are meant to break down only after they are swallowed releasing everything within them.

The truck driver could have been backing up. He would be going -the wrong way- would be actually driving the truck but would not be doing anything illegal.
