Nimrod from Edward Elgar-s Enigma Variations played on piano and organ. Gareth and Alex play a piano and organ duet to commemorate Remembrance Day as we remember all who have fought and fallen in war. The music of 'Nimrod' from the Enigma Variations is the work that sealed Elgar's fame. Its profound beauty and reflective nature make it a favourite among those seeking a moment of calm. It is always played at the Cenotaph, Whitehall in London at the National Service of Remembrance held on Remembrance Day. We decided to take Elgar's original arrangement of Nimrod for piano solo and incorporate the sustain and power of the organ to create a piano and organ duet. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. - Laurence Binyon

Just one word - beautiful.
All three of you are incredibly creative artists. The harmony between Gareth and Alex is astonishing.
If it's allowed to enter a wish could you repeat this someday with a joyful piece?

This is beautiful. Could I ask why this piece is associated with Armistice Day? Is the piece associated with the Hebrew biblical king of Babel, Nimrod? Thank you for doing this, it is a wonderful memorial.

I just wanted to say that I thought that was lovely, and really very poignant indeed. The video is really well filmed too, and suits the mood of this piece really well, thanks for posting this

Thank you for this wonderful arrangement. me and my friend, who plays the organ would like to play this together. Are there notes of the organ parts online? Or can you please upload them?

Beautifully done. The organ can support the harmony; the suspensions ring out on the piano.
The contrasting sonorities work well.
