Those hints pretty much got my attention from either 100 or 90 points but since it started to pick up thanks to the composer of the New World Symphony and what he went through in his lifetime I must be Antonin Dvorak in my perspective and honest answer because I remember about the Prague of which composer went there about with that in mind it needs to be Antonin Dvorak (composer of New World Symphony) which that can easily make me remember that composers name from that musical creation that he wrote from himself. So I confirmed either 100 or 90 points because Prague ringed a bell which was Antonin Dvorak.

yes i got 100 this time, for the major composer.
i did not know his new world symphony was used for advertisement for bread, but its first theme from the second movement is widely used to tell school children to go home.
actually, about the piece, more than anything i want to say if it-s only me who get reminded of the jaws theme when hearing the first theme of the symphony. it sounds so similar, at leasr to me.

Got it at the First clue, Dvorak was the first composer who came up to my mind as you said he was born in Prague-
I visited that city in july and i went to a beautiful exhibition in the National Museum about czeck composers and there was the manuscript of the Symphony no.9 -from the new world- and the illustrated story of his life. It's very interesting and i recommand it if you're going to visit Prague -

Another great quiz. I was circling all around it with other composers from that era, but came up dry again. I didn't realize he died so young. The second movement is so gorgeous, it's sad to realize that it was used to sell bread. Then again, the final movement was the inspiration for John William's piece at the end of the original Star Wars movie. So I guess he's been an inspiration to many.

Please, to be fair to everyone else who wants to play, don't type out the answer in the comment section. Sometimes it is very difficult not to get a glimpse of the uppermost comment; and should that comment note the answer to the quiz, that spoils the fun for the rest. Thanks in advance for your future consideration.

I got a 25. Guess I never was good at maths. No, seriously the 'near Prague 1841' was enough. My fav composer. Didn't need the 1904 part (which if I remember was 1 May, of what was called at the time 'cerebral apoplexy').

There are a lot of composers that I didn't know. So I'm learning a lot. Some composers I know but didn't know the clues about them. Sadly I couldn't use the clue from the violin Suzuki book, I'm in book two at the moment

I got 90!! At some point, my band friend has told me that he studied at an organ school. I was very surprised and a bit skeptical, but that was how I remembered where he graduate.

I have got 100 points ! 1841 is when Hong Kong became a colony of Britain and 1904 is the first tram service in Hong Kong. I use Dovrak date for Hong Kong key dates.

I think at about 3:50 the bread got stuck in my throat. Brahms? Mendelssohn? Wagner? Something to do with the Prague Symphony?.....uhhhh no that's too early!!!!
