My favourite superhero is spiderman too to be honest. He helped me get through all of my struggles during early childhood. For example when i was in kindergarten and in elementary school i was very inteoverted all the time. I didnt dare talk to anyone. I watched spiderman before id go to bed and feel confident the next day. For powers it would definitely be carnage because i can relate to him too. Goeslike him i want revenge sometimes

Interesting, I did a similar thing with myself when dealing with Anxiety and Depression, but I used anime characters instead of comic heros. The two characters that I saw myself as were easily Tomoko (from Watamote) and Shinji Ikari (from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Seeing them struggle and overcome their anxieties and depressions helped me to do the same, and Evangelion restores my sense of self worth (before it I was super suicidal.

Wonder Woman (from the classic Justice League animated series) and Hermione Granger (Harry Potter books) helped me a lot when I was a kid. I don't think I would be who I am today without them. When I watched the Wonder Woman movie, I remembered how seemingly we are, especially when it comes to values. Being able to see myself in her after all these years is everything, it proves I didn't lose myself in the crowd.

Love the style: D i want to just take a second to talk about all of the hyper intelligent people in too easy schools. You probably didnt get any attention like me. Well to help you with this try to talk about it with your parents and if this doenst help try using internet to find some challenge. i did this way too late and i became lazy and had problems with this in my freshman year. Remember you all you all matter

My list might be a bit long.
Raven
Cyborg
Green Lantern
Iron Man (We're both named Tony)
Leonardo (TMNT)
Harry Potter (since I always watch the movies when they're on)
Goku (from my favorite franchise and possibly the first hero I ever liked)
Shinichi Izumi (Parasyte)
Shadow the Hedgehog (I know he's an antihero but I had to)
And above all else. Deku! (means 'I can do it! ')

I have many favorite superheroes, but one of the top ones is Batman. He went through some really tough times in his young life and fights/works hard to achieve his goals. He seemed to me as the type of person to not tolerate being stepped all over. My second favorite is Tony Stark, Ironman. He's extremely intelligent and has many great ideas, as well as a sense of humor I can get behind.

My favourite Its Spider-Man, too! My second though would have to be Daredevil (Matt Murdock) probably because he has a lot of flaws and still finds a way to help people. Hes human in that way. He also has an actual disability that hes learned to use as a strength rather than a weakness.

I like this! I feel like it would work especially well on children. Not because superheros are just for children or that it cant work on adults. I just feel this is a great way for children to feel better without fully realizing what theyre doing: )

This just hit so different. Marvel and the MCU (especially Captain America/Steve Rogers) have been a huge part of my life for the past 2 years for this exact reason and now that there's scientific reasoning behind it is so reassuring.
reply

Superman, hands down. All those powers and he chooses to help people and always takes the high road. How many people are like that? We need more of Superman. Captain America and Doctor Strange don't hurt either: )
reply

A superhero the really helped me was Superman. Specially on the comic book Whatever happened to the Man of Tomorrow it shows the most vulnerable experience for him, where he feels lost, without an entity.
reply

Too many heroes and superheroes to choose from
Jessica Cruz and Simon Baz are the best with their backgrounds (personally I like Jessica better due to relatable to my situation and likes so far)

reply

Spiderman was my favourite too.
But what if your favourite is someone like Wolverine or Deadpool? They're not really good role models, even in their lives outside being a superhero.

reply

Edna Mode from The Incredibles is yelling so much right now! NO CAPES! Seriously, you drew so many capes. Also, Claire Bennet from the show Heroes is probably my favorite hero.
reply

My favourite superhero has to be doctor Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk. Despite being mutated by the Gamma radiation, he always manages to be kind and to help people as much as he can.
reply

Quite a Collection of HP characters: In general mainly Hermione or McGonagall but rather often Remus, sometimes Neville, Harry, Sirius or Tonks. It depends on the situation.
reply

I don't really like superheroes, but there are other characters that I can connect to and look up to for similar reasons. That's why entertainment is an important industry.
reply

Mine is Venom. Like me he has internal struggles. A duality between the host and the symbiote. A want to do the right thing and an anger that makes me hurt the ones I love.
reply

My favorite superhero is not the most suitable for this kind of therapy. At least I don't feel happy if I think I am resembling him. My favorite superhero is Batman.
reply

I've always been more of a supervillain type, tbh.
They always seem so powerful, so in control, so large and in charge. at least for the next thirty minutes.

reply

Man, now I get it why I liked Batman so much and became fascinated with Scarecrow. I have a history of excessive fear about trivial things.
reply

Black panther. He is a king and a superhero but he always had to fight with anxiety and meeting the high standards of his family as a ruler.
reply

I've almost always liked Nancy Drew, I was never into superheroes. Except I've liked Wonder Woman since the Wonder Woman movie came out
reply

not that easy. this is just trolling someone with mental illness because you guys wont know the real feeling and reason behind them
reply

I used to lile wonder woman because she was braver that most women and entered the world of super heroes as a woman among men
