I'm a cashier at a 99 Cents Only store and people have thanked me for being there to help them get supplies. I tell them that I'm just thankful to still have a job since I know so many people are not as fortunate. While I greatly appreciate the courtesy, I still can't help but think how lucky me and my co-workers are to still be able to go out and help people in our own way. The only thing wrecking my mental health right now is that my dad and step-mom are working from home a regular basis now and my step-mom won't stop badgering me to get out of my room -_-

9. Practice Solitude - it helps you to be in company with your own company which quells loneliness and improves self-awareness, self-respect, humility, kindness and love for self and others, patience, responsibility, widens perspectives, reduces cynicism and naivitism, and increases optimistic and valuable meaning in life in a more healthily balanced way.
10. Listen to Amanda's voice - it promotes peace and strength for validating bravery as it's like a comfortable, reassuring virtual hug that can bring about warm and fuzzy feelings inside; )

I love this. Some of these tips are really simple things that we think are obvious but its good to me reminded. Thanks for reminding me to change out of my pjs Im actually going to play some music right now and get dressed, do my hair and makeup even if Im not going anywhere. I have always said When you look good you feel good. when getting ready for work, but now that I dont have work to get ready for Ive been laying around in pjs without any makeup on feeling like a sad potato. Lol it will be good to have a little fun today.

What if I'm so down that, even though I know I should do this things, I don't feel like doing so. I feel like doing anything. I just wanna sleep or waste my time playing video games. But I have to study for university. and that makes me stressed and upset. I don't wanna study, but I have to. I feel so depressed and I really know I'm overreacting. So, knowing that, makes me pissed off with myself. I don't wanna do anything productive
Does anyone feel the same?

I was very sad and agressive in the start of pandemic and made a fool out of myself. Than I just gave up and started to go afloat, but. it didnt end well for me, because of this I forget that I cannot cope with the pandemic after all due to my body needs and in the result I lost my job. Now pandemic is over, but I dont know when I will return to work and looks like a dream about own house will. be gone, but at least I surived a pandemic.

I live with my husband's family and our daughter. I am trying to cope. I am trying my hardest. I just broke my mind a few weeks ago because my sister in law doesn't stop going out to her boyfriend's house to hang out. It's like nothing is happening. I can't escape this. The selfishness. The audacity. I wanna blow up at her yet no one seems to care here. Can someone please tell me I'm not crazy for being so scared and mad about this?

I meditate, play with cats, watch fun videos, clean house, check up on family once a week, or try without them calling daily, and watch TV. I been doing what the rest of the world is going now for 13 years. Pundendal nerve pain ( Pundendal Neuralgia and Fibromyalgia) caused me to not able to work.
I been happy, because am introvert.
I am praying for the world.

Honestly I also did social media distancing for about the first whole month of lockdown/ quarantine. Why?
Bcuz internet with its fake news makes me anxious and paranoid about everything, and it feels great.

We all have a role to play in this. From being the in Frontlines dealing face to face with the virus, being a part of the supply chain keeping the flow of goods moving keeping the stores stocked as possible, or just simply staying home. Stay safe everyone and we will pull through this together!

Dealing with depression while quarantined was kinda relaxing for me at the beggining lol because i don't have stressfull school stuff to do or dance classes to attend, buuuuut now it's getting harder lol.
So thank you for this very usefull video with a very calming voice!

I especially liked what you said about self care. How it's not only about the stereotypical bubble baths, but actually anything that - as you've put it - helps us relax, promotes our emotional well-being, or shows our love to ourselves.
Thanks for all your content. :)

I think in Greece if you text a number there's phychological support for quarantine, because as they say 'Keeping healthy our organism and our mind is important'

This Video is So AmazingThank You. I needed to hear all this. And I just love the narrator, your voice sinks everything you say into the sub-consciousness.
reply

I'm being compliant and have no problem with this because I know its temporary. It's other people that don't understand or care about how serious shit is.
