I know someone who's really a narcissist. But she thinks that it is other people who are narcissists and not she and she plays victim. Thank God that she is so ugly there's no way she can think she's beautiful. What she does now is she undergoes all sorts of treatments to try, but in vain, to make herself look attractive. Many people arround her cut ties with her, her family, relatives, lovers and friends. Her ex-husband even pretended that he is gay just to get away from her. Now, her current partner is avoiding her. I distance myself from her literally and figuratively. She is so controlling and manipulative. She thinks that she is superior to us. She is the one who is always right and correct. She is so dominating. She had made me her subservient. I have turned my cold shoulder on her, ignored and avoided her as best as I can. However, she persists on reaching out to me, trying her best to win my friendship again. She once told me that if she hates someone, she is not going to unfriend that someone so as to not loose access to that someone and make her revenge in one form or the other. To keep my sanity safe and personal and professiona safety, I have to totally block her from my life. We work in the same institution unfortunately.

Narcissism is not a mental disorder. it is an instinct and an intention that is absorbed in protecting its boundaries and increasing its own sense of value, control and pride on the expense of others. to achieve that, they have to do the opposite to others, to disarm them, lowering their self worth and shaming them. Narcissistic people live between fear and greed. they didnt develop a better human intention, so they are still ruled by the survival instinct, a relationship for them is a war to rise above you. and they can even rise to be at the top of society, like trump and many more. we are all narcissists to a certain extent. and no one can change in one lifetime except through a reforming environment that he cant escape, or through seeing his own faults hurting him personally. and they never think their best friend and protector is their enemy and an enemy to everybody they get close to. so i think the best advice is to get away from them.

Videos like this have many things you can use the info for.
Not only can they help with seeing how different kinds of disorders and stuff work, but can also help with creating proper characters.
If you want a good character design, youd want to make sure that however they act, its accurate. And for one of my characters, who is a Narcissist, it helps to flesh them out by it being accurate to how Narcissists actually act.
You can apply this to more than just these videos, so Id recommend, if you want to create good character dynamics, to have a character have certain traits of something they may have, but also their own flair added on to be unique.

My 6ft 1 inch exwife and her mother tick all these traits of narcissist personality. Both have not aged well over 23 years and don't have any friends because they are toxic, her father was drill sergeant in the army, so she had learnt to talk loud, they were cruel about everyone even to each other and now I have escaped her I realise she had no redeeming qualities becuase everything she did in to appear genorous and kind was for control and to look big and benevolent and now see clearly arrogant and ugly they all were from the inside out, I cannot understand why she reckoned herself and flirted with men becuase she actual looked like a well dressed witch. Song for narcissist that I knew.

Whoa! My narcissist husband actually changed his politics and everything when he became a white collar employee who runs the company instead of just an ironworker. But he started becoming a trumper and he still becomes enraged if I say anything negative about that party even though we used to agree on politics; we were more in the middle together but that was 21 years ago now all of a sudden he's on the Trump train which really hurts because we have two adult daughters. He's a chameleon who convinces himself he was one all along

Too bad for my narcissistic ex-girlfriend, I took note of the things she told me and compared them to the ones she had said on earlier dates. She even tried to fool me one time that I was imagining things. She tried to make me believe that I did not reply to her when I really did. I have proof. I took a screenshot of my last message to her that night. I let her win the argument because I didn't want to stress myself. She really thought she had me wrapped around her finger.

Everyone in the comments saying: this video sounds exactly like someone I know about they must be a narcissist. Chances are theyre simply an abuser. Emotional abuser. This video is extremely flawed, provides a lot of exaggerated or wrong information, and generally sets out to demonize this personality disorder. Do more research, and do better research. And the comments are just as bad when it comes to deciding who is and isnt a narcissist.

Oh well into the narcissist pile I go
Edit: not much ppl hate me or Smth like that I dont gaslight and the other categories but only when actually needed for example you get in trouble for something you did and know you did it I would say that we can charm our way out of things but I think there was similar category

Yeah, the security guard where I live is doing this the more I interact with him. I was in a good mental place/mood last night and after I was done talking with him I felt so drained and emotionally empty. Had to call a friend to help me get recentered this morning. I'm done interacting with him. There's no way I should be feeling that low after being in a good mood. Don't let anyone dictate your happiness.

There's a ticket clerk at Elmers End station who is a narcissist. Boasts about all the things he does, has his nose up the managers crack and ingratiates himself with them, a real sycophant, sending emails about his achievements. He's not a good listener, He criticisizes the passengers and staff too. He's not like at all. I loathe him.
reply

Ok, I dont try to be a narcissist but I sometimes get wrapped up in my opinion not because I think I'm better, it's because I'm so used to not being heard that when someone does actually want to listen, I have to say it all at once, or they will cut me off. I hate relationships. idk, I guess im just rrlly damaged.

I am assuming my sister is a narssist because sometimes I imagine just finishing myself to let everyone see what she actually is and label her as the one who drove her sister to kill herself. Then I remember my parents have suffered enough and I bought too many games I haven't finished to brush it off.

Me: [tells my friend i might have low self esteem (and is annoyed/upset about it)]
Friend: dont let something that small get you down (i mostly forgot what he said but i hope t was close enough for the point)
Would this count as a good friend or narcissism
Im just worried
Why?
I dont know

. even the cartoon looks exactly like her. i didn't know she was a narcissist though. years after leaving her presence i, one of her victims, this is still I'll. so, what can one do after being attacked by gaslighting? Thanks in advance!
reply

just found out that im a narcissist. i am a very nice person tho. i have 2 personalities and i have to decide sometimes. i make friends with them but secretly an narcissistic towards them. i dont know what i am at this point
reply

Check: Instead of listening to what I have traumatic experienced, they are wrapped up in their own opinion of fabricated diagnoses. It is more scary and harmful when the Narrsisists are your therapist or psychiatrists.
reply

my father fr, he is INSUFFERABLE. I literally cant tell him anything and make him agree with me or listen to me. And he is still talks shit about my mother because she broke up with him, its been 15 years
reply

Im afraid i might be a narcissist and i dont want to live anymore because how much i despise them, but someone pointed something indisputable about narcissists so now im scared im one.
reply

every narcissist should be ignored till they notice they have a problem and seek mental help cuz they never would if you praise them and play their game till your soul is torn appart
