I don't know why I'm talking about this but.
I have a really good poker face. Whenever I feel mad or angry towards my friends, I'd say something like nah it's ok even though it's not. I hid my real emotions because im scared of they're thoughts about me. Basically, what people thought about me is my biggest fear, even if im walking, im scared of what people think. Likewhy is she walking so slow? Why is shw walking like that? I've always been scared. That's why i always bottled my emotions and gave a real poker face. Even my own parents never realize it. It's good to know the fact that i can act with people. But sometimes I hate it too. I want to express them. really. But I'm a coward, my parents are strict parents and that's why i'm good at bottling my emotions. But when bottling up emotions, is just like a full air balloon. Even the tiniest thorn can make it pop. And that basically what happen to me with my parents. It hits you 10x harder when you explode. But even then. i still bottle up my emotions. thank you for reading.

One time i held my emotions in so much that when i went in bed i just started crying and thinking about suicidal when I've never done that before and when my mom asked why was i crying i just told her that i thought about a sad thing or i had a bad day and she told me okay well go to sleep you got school tomorrow, and when i went to school i felt so numb and like a different person then last night when i was alone but people didn't see it since i wear a mask all the time and i only laugh, smile, or be talkative. That's how i am but as the school year went on and ever since that day, i would feel numb and how i didn't feel any thing, until one time i cried again when my dad and mom made me feel fat (ofc they didn't mean to but they still did) but when i was crying i felt like nothing and when i cried i wasn't even making noise or screaming or making a crying sound, i was silent while tears were rolling down my face as i felt fat. Anyone else?

After watching this- if everything is true- then I know for sure that my whole entire life- day and night I have been struggling to feel anything- and now even worse when I see someone crying or something happens. I dont feel anything. But I also find myself getting gloomy or slightly mad over such little nonsense the smaller the situation is- its always a big thing to my heart. All of the 6 things are what actually happening to me, I see it now and its all true I cannot lie
But thank you for letting us kind of people know about problems and situations, things we dont even know because we were once blind. Can you make a video on how to resolve this issue if possible? It would help a lot

Lately, I've been trying so hard to express my emotions instead of bottling them up, but it's hard to do that when it has been a habit for so long.
I recall times that something small would happen, and I would break down into tears because that little thing was the straw that broke to camel's back. If my friends/family was there, they would keep asking me what was wrong, and I repetitively kept saying 'I don't know, I don't know! ' because I felt like I really didn't know. Tears just came, and I couldn't do anything about it; all the emotion just came pouring out.

I thought that what I did was normal, that I should just not disclose my feelings or cry because nobody does. Why am I so freaking emotional? One time, my friend asked me why I never cried when everyone did, or why I never got mad at insults. I asked her, Isnt it normal to not cry or get mad? And she stared at me and shook her head. I dont know why, but something inside me snapped. I began sobbing, and I dont know why. I never realized I was bottling up everything till it bubbled over and I couldnt stop it.

Ive been bottling up my emotions for all of the 13 years of my life and my bottle has have yet to break, however I've been lashing out more than I have been. My friends think I don't have sadness or anger, except for when I joke around. It just feels like I dont feel sadness or anger anymore because I've just numbed myself to the pain to the point where I feel it deep down but not in the moment.

I used to show my emotions when i was scared. but for some reason that made my dad and brother mad. They used to make me come outside to help them mow(which pretty much involed them yelling at me when i did something wrong, me crying, and that makimg them more angry, or when i was playong games with them. I honestly think they were bottlong up some serious emotions then.

Aint no way this is me, but for some reason Ill sometimes still let out some type of emotion. The third perspective is definitely true, when I come to a new school, is rare at my classmates and whats happening, not realizing they might see me staring at them or what they do. Sometimes I just feel like I distance out that way, and I dont engage much.

I know I bottle up my emotions but I dont care. This is the way I have always done it. My emotions have never taken over. I do have most of these symptoms but it doesnt bother me. To me, as long as other people are happy I am happy. To me, talking about my emotions just makes me feel worse and like a burden. Anyone else feel this way?

I have always been able to control my emotions and have always bottled them up for when i need those emotions that i wanted to use on others, i bottle my emotions up because when Im in a fight it gives me more confidence and then what i wanted to say or do is bottled up into my emotions for another time. Is that a bad thing?

I have a small question. If u can please reply it will help me a lot. I realised I am bottling up my emotions for like past 3-4 years. As when I try to open up to my parents. They just don't care and say you are overreacting and u have everything even things u never asked. Don't talk nonsense. Can u please help me here
reply

I find this really relatable because I see people cry over things I always find to be insignificant and I am annoyed and puzzled at how they can cry about it and I know it's hurtful to think like that but it is just SO much of a pet-peeve because I don't let myself to feel sadness or cry.

The fact that I just realised that every single one of these apply to me, I dont rlly know how to feel about that
Not sure how to help myself with it, both my friends and I are way too used to my usual behaviour for me to suddenly change like this

reply

Whenever i feel strong emotions it turns into laughter it is likely to be because everytime i wanted to cry i said to myself to smile and be happy bevause my mom disliked me being sad and made her sad too. We are starting the path to heal now.

Funny story. I actually have something I call My Feelings Jar where I write down a thought of mine and put it into a plastic jar. It makes me feel better because I can say whatever I want sense I dont have many people to talk to.
