Took years to realise a former friend on socials was a total psychopath due to my lack of social interaction (therefore me being a naive and shy person and a vulnerable person to their eyes. Common interests was the factor that approached us and we almost exchanged gifts to each other, mostly on their behalf. I even helped them with their lame character stories that I later discovered were even rip off of other people's. They would also boost their ego to their friends about saving me from a depressive episode, which I found unusually strange. Our first row had a third person I was friend with that they didn't like and would involve me at some point in their witch hunt, until I cut ties from them and they tried all means to get me back and make peace. Sixth sense was telling me that something was wrong with this person, but I couldn't point my finger where the issue was really, until time after I started to see their true colours when I isolated myself due to, at the time, ongoing depression and them labelling me as a shitty person because they believed I was cutting ties from them. Situation degenerated when they started to use a comment of mine for a proofless accusation out of blue (yeah, they were reading all my comments with other people and even tried to befriend them in few occasions, where I took the opportunity to definitively cut ties from this person while being fed up with their behaviour and my move took them out of surprise to a point of forcing them to beg me literally to give them a second chance WHILE spreading false rumours on my persona to third parties being external to our drama. When I confronted them about everything, they would either lie, skip or avoid questions while bringing useless arguments in to change topics. Alarming the fact that they were fully aware of their wrongdoings, but they never managed to correct themselves and kept going instead (although in a post they made on socials they confessed of hurting people to make them feel their own pain due to abuses they allegedly got, but God forbid you to feel offended by them because theirs was a reasonable action or in the lines of that - in other words people should feel empathy for them despite being abused instead of being reasonably angry.
The funniest part of all this ordeal is that they took major offence when I revoked all my artwork, character designs included, I made for them; that was their most important thing apparently, more than this friendship could ever be.
Honestly, looking back at everything, I still believe that, outside of manipulation, this friendship wasn't destined to happen due to both having contrasting views of things in general, if not we shared opposite personalities. Friendship, but it's me, me and my interests in a nutshell.

Well i dont know about being shy as an example. i have moved around all my life raised in 3 different continents, it does not make anyone a psycho to be kinda a loner its normal if you have traveled a-lot and moved. It means you are new to a place. but i can say one thing that i have met manipulative type of personality because of this fact that im new, but its very much a certain extra qualities other than being a loner or shy, or want to be a bit comforted or be close to one person instead of many, to have more meaningful conversations, than being a bubbly bimbo type i think being careful has to be always important, bit also to be reasonable, you cant exclude people who are alone, sometimes everyone around is fake, they might be great people

Yes I think I know one my own son didn't want me to sell my mother's house I gave him a substantial amount of money when it was sold but he wanted to stay there I think he wanted the house thinking I would die soon but I'm still here it wasn't till he got so intimidating yelling at me he couldn't hold back the nice facade anymore and started dumping water on my head while I was sitting in a chair if I said the wrong thing I was near 80 at the time I'm now 89 and he lives elsewhere with the money I gave him

#3 Hit me hard. I joined a discord server of a friend group I went to high school with after the leader came to my house. A few months in the only message he directed at me was put that music shit in general one more time and I WILL ban you out of nowhere. That's when everything got out of hand, then in the calls he would start verbally assaulting me and he'd reply antagonizing messages to my snapchat story. It took me 2 years to leave that friend group but I'm glad I did on my own terms

My last employer was one. A year later and I still have nightmares and am still too sick to work. When you meet a psychopath make for the horizon people. They are not worth all this pain. I hope I will recover but I am really worried I may never be able to work again. I have extreme anxiety.
