1. I became a perfectionist due to my family's expectations of mine (just because I've said that School is way too easy as a joke but they took it seriously)
2. I became reliant to technology because it's my only way of escaping reality
3. I always sleep 3-5 hours and I can no longer sleep more than 5 hours
4. My Family is really toxic
5. I have never asked someone for help because they might laugh at me
6. I've compared myself to others because I am really envious that others are living a very happy life
7. I sabotage myself all of the time subconsciously by bottling up all my emotions and getting emotionally scarred which made me tired to even do anything everyday
8. I no longer say Thank You because I've had an experience in the past where someone took advantage of the favor he did for me.

Perfectionist: I had that problem but I got over it when entering university.
Phone addict: No phone addict, but maybe PC addict. But there is nothing I could do other than being on my PC all day anyway, so.
Missing sleep: Sometimes but lately I feel like I rather sleep too much (10 hours++.
Toxic relationship: Luckily no. But I had some online friends before which ended up being toxic but I or they quit, so it's over.
Don't ask for help: I just asked my best friend some weeks ago about some problems I had so it's okay.
Comparing: Sometimes, but just casually more often then not and I try to ignore the skills of others.
Sabotaging your self: No, never.
Gratitude: Never thought about that but I just made a small list.

One quick question that might be helpful for me to have answered. A lot of times I find myself in that state discussed towards the end of the video: paralyzed by your own fears and uncertainties. When I get in this state, I sleep a lot, and I hide from myself by--often unintentionally--procrastinating work through videogames and the like. As might be evident from the statement, I don't feel like I am in control of my life and behavior during these times. Is this an active symptom of depression?

Perfectionist? A bit depends on
Addicted to phone? Not phone, computer.
Are you missing sleep? I Wouldnt say tha- YES
Do you stay in toxic relationships? Some of my friends are Bullsh##
Do you ask for help? No
Do you compare yourself to others? uhhh, yeah?
Do you sabotage yourself? yeah. _.
Do you practice gratitude? In a bad exagerated irritating level but im getting better at that

Me who has had insomnia for 5 years straight and just recently found out.
Hmmm yes I see
Also if I ever was in a toxic relationship then I would probably kill them
I don't appreciate anybody and I am only really capable of seeing the bad in people that has helped me alot seeing whoever is bad or good to me if I do find one I just ignore them and leave them its relatively simple.

I always dont say what are my true pains are because im suffering from trust issues and anxiety. I regretted it. I bottled up my emotions, i dont let myself cry because i felt like i am just dramatic, i feel guilty, i dont deserve it. Im suffering from anxiety depression right now and i really needed a hug from my mom but i dont want to stress nor burden her.

Dear Diary,
today I learned that I should be dead by now. But somehow I'm still alive. Every day is torture and I have no freedom to improve anything. After much thought, I came to the conclusion that I am already in Hell and only here to pay for the sins of my previous life or some shit.

It's really hard to fix a disturbed state of mind. You do things as a way to escape but it gets unhealthy to use your phone or sleep too much. It's also hard when everyone around you is getting somewhere but youre struggling, everyone- even the ones who say their average are doing better than you
reply

Sooo basically everything I already know. Theres no secret to what destroys your mental health its usually obvious. And if youre really that unaware that you need to watch a video you should re-evaluate somethings honestly.
reply

Number 1 perfectly described my current mental state--seeking to meet your perfectionist ideals can leave you in a spiral of depressive, guilt-ridden thoughts. Yuuuuuup!
Thanks for helping me feel less alone in this.

How can you talk with someone if you cant trust anyone? Even psychologists have to report to police and these days a suggestion is all the cops need to arrest you

Hmmm this video doesnt even mention getting out for a bit of exercise each day and eating healthier is the best method of all to maintain mental health.
