TW: abuse! Yelling! And anger!
I regret yelling at my little brother and hitting him. I regret not being there for him and instead I kept screaming at him. Every time he came in my room to play I would always throw things at him to be left alone. Afterwards though I would feel bad and start crying, I regret not saying sorry and trying to fix things as I was embarrassed and scared, I told myself that wasnt gonna fix anything so I kept quiet. As time past by I felt more angry and it kept growing and growing. Now dealing with depression, I isolate myself from people so I wont yell or hit them. And I regret it all, one time my twin brother walked into my room to say I love you. It would almost happen everyday. But I told him to shut up that it was annoying, and he wouldnt stop, but one day he was on a bus for band to go to a football game but the bus had crash, luckily he is still alive but all those times he said I love you, I should have said it back, because what if he did die, Ive done so many things I regretted and cant get myself to forgive myself. I feel so terrible and feel like a bad son, I just want this regret to be done with, but I dont know what to do. I regret everything, Im so sorry, Im really sorry. It hurts so much every time I think about it. Why am I like this.

Guys, do you want to know where shyness can get you? This happened to me:
I liked someone, my crush knows I like them and they didn't care which Is good, If they cared I would be nervous around them and they will be nervous around me. We were friends for a year and yes I am shy around them. after school break, I stopped talking to them because I'm shy, AND THEN THAT'S THE WORST MISTAKE I HAVE EVER DONE. they started to think I was a fake friend and was just using them, they unfriended me, haven't talked to them for a long time.
Shyness could possibly lead you to:
Being bullied
Unfriended by a friend (sometimes)
Loneliness
Crush will never know who you are (unless they talk to you and you start dating them)
And probably more.
So guys, stop being shy! I'm not shy anymore! Being shy isn't a bad thing, you can be shy, but you will feel regret or you can become shy forever but you won't be sad and you will be chilling.

I'm 23 years old. Examples given are all my regrets. 4 years ago, I fell in love to a woman who was very cute and caring but I chose to listen to my parent's advice to finish my study. I hide my true feelings to her for many years until I found out that she has also been in love with me in the beginning but unfortunately, she is in a relationship right now. She decided to entertain his current boyfriend after I decided to pursue my studies. But for many years, we hangout sometimes as a friend until I have no contact with her.
This is my biggest regrets. I'm thinking what if I chose both? What if I didn't listen to my parents and chose my own decision? Is there a lifetime waiting between us in a world where I yours? Sometimes I cannot sleep because of these regrets. I hope you can help me.

My regret, is that I wish I took a completely different pathway as a teenager. I was 17 when I took that pathway.
For 3 years I was engaged to someone who was physically and mentally abusive/controlling. Because I was so scared to stand up for myself and walk away at the very beginning (which in the very end I did but got put in hospital.
Because of that situation I lost time with my dad, time that I can't get back as he passed away. I also lost the option of being able to work in my dream career as I now live with a physical disability due to the abuse. The first one I will forever carry that regret, as for the second one I may not be able to work in my dream career anymore but I do have a plan b and to this day that is what I'm currently doing. I'm now 29.

One biggest regrets I ever made in my life is quit dancing. During my childhood I enjoy my time doing modern dancing my mother signed my up for a lot of different styles of dance (Ballet, Tap dancing, Jazz, Gym even hiphop) and the thing was that I was in all of them enjoying every last piece of memory I made but when years pass at 10 years old I started to lose interest the more I go to dance class I dont feel lighten anymore since everyone is getting the same. It gets harder and harder the more I dance and during our performance I quit after making that choice I realize how much I miss modern dancing even tho you may be so passion in something that you want to quit dont, Dont do it you will regret your decision that I made.

I have one big regret.
I wish my parents never had me.
Being a disabled child, I created alot of problems for them as people in society love to dsicriminate against disabled people and parents of/carers of them, they had to fight hard to get me a good school, a fair go in life and in turn they missed out on so much. They are now divorced as the love between them is long gone, but they still fight for me, they still take care of me for my health problems and other issues I deal with. 37 years old and I'm still such a burden to them.
If I could go back, I'd stop my parents ever meeting, then they'd both go on to have happier lives.

I have 18 now and I noticed that I regret that I didn't gave myself the time to be an 16 year old girl.
I was in a relationship with an older dude and my only goal was provide a future for us, so everything around me was involving my school performance, my relationship and my future. I never gave myself the time to understand myself and ended up unhappy and overworking myself.
Today I am a lot better and in the way to being the best that I can be! I hope that you that are reading have patience with yourself and everything will be okay, you are not alone.

I'm In high school And I Think I'll Regret Choosing To Dance in Millions Of People with Their Judging Eyes, What If I Wasn't That Good To Participate at all, What If I Made A Fool Of Myself, But It really Want To And I Think I will Regret Not doing So Later Also I'm Gonna Both Terms (1) In Doing It I am gonna Make A Mistake And be Embarrassed so I'll Probably regret doing it in the future (2) If I don't I will Also regret In the Future Because of Not Experiencing At all so I'm Gonna Do It If it's A Regret Why Not It Be something I want

I regret. Not allowing myself to accept I was truly unhappy in a relationship and telling myself that maybe I was just overthinking things and that I could work on bettering myself to fix the issues. when in reality they were all signs that I did not need to be with this person and it was unhealthy for me despite if they were benefiting from it.
For sacrificing my beliefs, standards, and values to make other people happy while I always ended up the one with the short end of the stick. knowing if I'd followed my beliefs I'd been safe.

My only regret is not learning how to socialize during my youth (due to bullying, leading to various mistakes and cringeness when trying to befriend people, scaring them away from me. Now I'm basically catching up during my mid 20's what most people develop in their teens (not in terms of party and naivity, but in meeting people.
Don't be scared of NICE new people just because some idiots in your class at school bully you. Considering everyone as my enemy made me miss out on opportunities I will NEVER get again.

I absolutely regret letting friendships fade. Some were friends who went away when I was involved with a narcissist, who tried to isolate me. Most of my friends were happy to welcome me back when I was ready to leave him, though one in particular has resisted all my attempts to reconnect. Another was my best friend through most of elementary, junior high, and high school. We drifted further and further apart, and it's been 2 or 3 years since we've even tried to connect, though I think about her all the time.

The biggest regret I have is never confronting my friends about how they me feel left out and unimportant to them. But was afraid to confront them about how I feel because I felt like I was selfish and because of how hear stories of how they had worse compared to me. From pure depression to cutting themselves, so I kept my feelings shut and felt that it's not a big deal since I was the only one upset. And oh boy did that left me with a sad quote I say everytime I'm let out. I'm used to it

It sucks. One of the greatest regrets I have is throwing away the people who really loves me. I do not know what is wrong with me, I do not want this to become a habit. Whether it be a friend or a romantic partner, I just run away and cut off connections because Im afraid of attachments.
Now Im trying to open up a little bit. Im already tired of running away. It can get scary sometimes forming new attachments but yeah, this time I want to make it work. Thanks Psych2Go

My biggest regret is listening to my ex-bestie and went to the company she works in. I didn't know that it'd changed my life forever. I got bullied and is now suffering a mental illness. It traumatized me and I could no longer look at the world normally. I regretted that I shared my condition to the people I thought who'd be there for me when I was at the lowest point of my life. Now I keep everything to myself except the internet since no one really cares, right?

One of the things I regreted so much I wished I could come back and fixe it but I cannot: me and my bestie we know each other for 5years and we was the best I talk to her all the time and even of my fellings or some of my secret so we was in class they was 1 new girl I love her she was do pretty I wanted to be bestfriend with her but I spender 1year without talking to her and we was on final vacation and I regret now we are separated on classes

Psych2Go, I would like to suggest. Can you make a video How to address/talk to someone who loves you but you don't love them?
I struggle to communicate with him, He loves me but I don't love him. I like him to be my friend, but not to be a lover. I try to communicate and tell him how I feel about him, but he's trying to talk to me again.
I'm just being nice to him, but not in the romantic way.
Can anyone give some advice/s?

My life passion used to be being a scientist, but my parents kept telling me to quit hoping for it since it doesn't make any money. And now, I can't even convince my brain to go back to wanting to be a scientist as a hobby
If you're still with you're parents, don't let your parents control your future life, you'll regret it

reply

Do I thumb up or down?
Its not to late even standing your ground by going through a process, Ive blurped out true feelings that counts, and workout Im still attractive enough, I dont need to worry, my mind I chose stalemate but isnt that basically stable so its clearly on a victory of peace for all

Marrying my husband is the biggest regret I have in my life. I fell in love with the wrong person. What I should've notice were the red flags of his family a long time ago. . So I decided to separate and move on. Meet someone better.

Just as I watched this video my friend told me he met a girl and that girl is the one I have a crush on. Then he told me that he is going on a date in a few days and Im pretty sure its with her but I wont even ask.

Well I tried making a mom-friend but I realized she wasn't ready. She was overly sharing her life with me & super giving. It wasn't meant to be, at least not in this time & she has helped me to give her that space
