Something glossed over in this video is the heartbreak and disappointment of emotionally investing in someone, being patient, and being willing to overlook flaws, only to find out that it's not leading where you want it to- even once you accept the other person's stance. Also, was Jack (or whatever his name was) leading the woman on? Did he ever give off any signs that he was mutually interested? Or was the lady reading into something that wasn't there. I do appreciate a positive spin, but it needs to be a bit more realistic.

This is so true. Never try to change someone who doesn't care. If you try to help someone, that's fine. If they don't bother trying to change, leave them. It seems cruel, but it's for the best. Learned from experience

Psych2Go, I really relate to this video because I feel like I help people WAY too much, out of both love and attention. I sometimes don't know how to say no, because it might upset people who need some help/advice.
