Tbh I'll live whatever going on today than going back and fix it, because if I fix it doesnt mean my life will 100% better. But, if I could talk to my yoinger self or like, other kids privately, I'll tell them to
1. If you wanted to say something, just say it. If you wanted to make friends, just do it. Whatever the reaction, atleast you tried
2. Live in whatever your life is. You're still young, have many potential, and still could do whatever like playing, and perhaps get free Ice Cream. If you say Adult is better, then please change it to I wanna be a better adult because being adult without prepare is like a trainwreck
3. Dont waste your time and learn your true self. Like, for real, learn what you wanna be, and makes it as your main focus. Wanna draw? Focus on drawing. Wanna be a singer? Focus on it. School is important, especially in elementary. But remember that not even Albert Einstein being recognized at first in his school age. So dont worry if you like, get a bad grades in sport or geography because you didnt understand, because it's more likely your career path didnt need you to make a map or doing some soccer
4. Make as many friend/connetion as possible, and explore everything. It will be very helpful especially when you're in the 20s because if you have mane relations and knowledge, you'll be easily get a job, or even greater, make your own job. But no need to make yourself like a thousand relations/friends and learnin the entire Oxford vocabulary if that's too much for you, just get what you wanted to, no need to push yourself too hard
5. Oh yeah, dont hate taking a nap, you'll learn to needed it more in the future

I'm only 21 and fully regret overworking
My only memories from 13 to 19 are attending school and crying over homework
I lost all my opportunities towards friendship and love, I feel like a stranger when I'm in family gatherings and they start to talk about events I missed
I've never been into a real/proper romantic relationship because I couldn't put my partners before my work or school duties.
And now I feel incomplete and I constantly think that I wasted all this time doing something that only gave me anxiety and stomach problems.
I'm currently trying my best to commit to improve my personal life, but it's just so difficult to try to get friends at this point in life because it feels like everybody has already their own unamovible group of bff, lmao at this rate I'm gonna end up all alone and that scares me
And for you who kept reading all the way down here, let me give u an advice:
Don't worry so much about your notes, at the end those papers ain't gonna make you more or less of a person, but the people you interact with throughout those years would do it
Stop saying no to everything and try to say yes a little bit often, your live might be funnier that way
Take care of your body, it is your priority, your job and homework can wait, go eat something and drink water even if you don't feel like or ain't that thirsty
And on top of that, do not stop socializing with the family members that your care about and that care about you
Hope you stay safe and loved for the rest of your days, bye bye

Hey y'all, I know this isn't related to the topic of this video, but I just needed to get this off my chest. For a little over half a year now, I've been in love with a great friend of mine, but when I told her how I felt late December back in '21, she said I'm interested in someone else, sorry. Today I found out that the person she is interested in is another good friend of mine when said friend called me on the phone earlier this afternoon. While it does hurt knowing that she likes someone else, I'm also very happy for the both of them. They are both great, genuine, good, and loving people and I know that they will be good to each other. They are very dear friends of mine and I love them both. I guess I'd just appreciate a little encouragement since I know you guys are a very supportive community, that's all

i think something i need to improve on is to stop worrying about other things and peoples problems, everytime i have an embarrassing situation pop up in my head i start to realise that its not embarrassing because III think it is, its embarrassing because idk my mum felt sad about it? or my friend walked away? im so worried about other people and how they feel and how they react that for a quick second i forget i have my own life and feelings. writing it down makes me feel dumber. i know what im saying but even now, i just fully realised what i mean

33yr old here, and here is the list:
Drop the guilt. No one cares.
Drop the shame. No one cares.
Listen more.
Say what you want.
Say what you don't want.
Write your wishes. Keep the list.
Write all your interests. Keep the list.
Don't take yourself too seriously.
Don't be late.
Check your eyesight once a year.
Go to dentist once every six months.
Learn how to use all the tools you have in the toolbox.
Learn how to take pictures.
Learn how to swim sooner. It's easier than you thought.

Im 22 and life filled with regrets
Never show my true self, never speak up, being used, never kind to myself, hanged up on people, didn't chose right stream, pleased everyone around me, living in past and uncertain future.
Idk what to do anymore all i can see darkness ahead of with no sigh of light. Idk. Seems just. just pathetic
Sometimes blaming me for not making right choices, sometimes dad for never being there for me. Ik it wouldn't get me anywhere but i cant help it. Idk i feel numb. Idk. I just want all of this to END.

I have a regret. almost 10 years ago I had a falling out with my only child. She moved away to Oklahoma for a while, then to Bellingham, WA and I don't get to see her. She comes to my hometown, but doesn't make any time to see me or talk to me on the phone. I ache to have some sort of relationship with her because I love her deeply. I sometimes wish I could go back to when she was a little one and make the choices that would strengthen our relationship, not devastate it.
reply

I have the opposite problem of #1. Never had a relationship I was driven to seriously pursue, but I know that's on me. Idk if it's something about the other person that's supposed to pull me in, or if I'm supposed to push myself for it until I either it works or it I find out it was a waste. especially with people whose personalities were pretty compatible with mine. But I'm not old yet, so it's not quite at the point of serious regret.
reply

Masking my personality to blend in with other was my biggest regret.
Thought i would feel more loved but ended up losing myself and even when i had those people i thought were friends were just friends with a imaginary personality of mine which i showed them.
It felt really lonely but after realising i couldn't be happy by being with people with whom i need to mask myself to be with I realised i was happier on my own.

I feel the one on family estrangement so much right now as I'm kind of going through it. But I understand the bit at the end that both parties must be willing to put their differences aside and meet in the middle for reconciliation to happen. I just feel quite sad and frustrated that the other person isn't willing to do that, so I need to learn to be more patient and give both of us some more time, I think.
reply

Sometimes my mistakes is making me stronger. Was a hard thing that my parents hadn't worried about me when I wasn't too old. It doesn't matters now why they didn't do that, but I learned from that how to live by myself. Overcome my problems ALL by my own. But I can't deny it hurts, a bit. Knowing that you don't get enough warm in backdays. I trust this comes at it price. So long stranger.
reply

It can be a huge challenge to balance our lives in all these areas. Don't get me wrong, nothing is impossible as long as you are willing to try and improve on them. However, it is still indeed a big task to balance so many aspects of our lives without naturally losing one or two of them as listed in the video by default.
reply

Not learning to master my own emotions and sense of self-worth earlier, not putting up healthy boundaries earlier. I am 32 but wish I had known how to do these things in my 20s. My mental health was so bad that I spent most of my 20s being high or drunk to deal with chaotic emotions and deep-seated depression.

Im 15 and:
- please dont procrastinate in school, u want to be in the medical field now, help urself out TT but take breaks
- its ok to like women and men dont shield one side: )
- Communication is key
- You are responsible for your thoughts l, emotions, actions etc so dont blame others for them

reply

The word regret does not exist in my vocabulary. What was done is already done. Can't change it or turn back time so what is the point? I live only for the present. Whats past is past, and what lays ahead ain't here yet, so I couldn't care less about either.
reply

I already regret not going out as much as I want to. Yes I'll hang out with friends and its nice catching up with them but I just feel like with them its not possible, and it sucks cause when we try and plan stuff its empty promises.
reply

Ya aku tau mereka hanya menebak ku.
Seluruuuuhhh tim dendi menebak apa yg dipikiranku.
Tau kenapa? Krn tdk ada satupun yg bisa berkomunikasi dengan ku. Krn batasan dinding mereka, kecuali jual beli putus.
