Excellent video, its confusing at first, here a couple of things i learned
1. After backing up files from my phone to PC,sign out of -Google Drive- it's separate from -Google Account- other wise it can get confusing-.
2.The other thing is after backing up my ph to -Gogle Drive -my music stored on my SDCard would disapear, solved this by moving music from my SDCard to phone Internal storage,- not sure why?early days yet, still trial and error though your vid was excellent.
Thankyou.

Many thanks for this.
Do you know if Google has changed things so that MS Word files are now able to be imported into Google Drive without a problem? And can one now export to MS Word format from Google Drive? I am asking because a group of us found it impossible to get Word files to work on GD about a year ago. Also, at that time, one could not even merge cells in a table in GD - significant disadvantages which have kept me using Microsoft's OneDrive.

Please help me - i have a bunch of photos on my google tablet. When I click the icon that looks like a spinning pinwheel I can see them. I want to be able to see them through my google account on my pc. Not sure what I am doing wrong; have some pics on google photos and then some on the drive. What am I doing wrong.I do not understand the difference

No mention of the file structure. It seems to be just one massive list.
It should be similar to a Microsoft file system. Hirarchical. It been around for years, yet when I tell my phone to save to google drive, it just dumps the file in the mess. I'm sure that Google can do better. As it is its virtually unusable for storing documents.

This is a great way to learn how to use many different capabilities that google drive has as well as things like power point, exel, etc. and how to share things with people much easier than many other ways like faxing etc.

I DON'T WANT TO DOWNLOAD all my files!!! I just want to sync what I want to. Why is every video not showing how to actually use this thing rather than just showing what it DOES on it's own? :/

Great video tutorial. I was good to the 'Presentation' in action!
If you download G drive, does that mean it will take up twice the room if the files are on both the PC and G Drive?

very good info.....will try to use more google apps in the future......free is good.....seems like Google doesn't get a lot of press/publicity to encourage use.
