I'm learning a language. Wanting to learn faster I bought the book Fluent Forever. Gabriel recommends flashcards with pictures, sound, word, IPA transliteration, no anglocised translations. He recommends keeping them 100% in your target language. He also recommends Anki, but this requires a desktop. Quizlet looks like it will be a good alternative to Anki.

It doesn't even have spaced repetition!
Quizlet only allows you to learn vocabulary in an ineffective random order and is wasting your time.
It's just an outdated way to learn vocabulary brought to the internet.
Better go for Anki or Memrise.com
