Find and select the 'Forms' tool! There... I just saved everyone about 2 minutes and 20 seconds of their time, because it takes him about that long just to get to the very beginning of this tutorial which is simply opening the 'Forms' tool. The first two minutes of this video is him going on and on about how to add the Forms tool to your quick access toolbar... So if this isn't something you're interested in seeing, what you're probably not because you came here to learn something else... Skip to 2:20 and you'll be at the beginning of the actual tutorial you came for.
Also made me quite uneasy to hear him say -for some reason Excel needs a table...-...um, For some reason? Are you saying you don't fully understand this whole process? Cuz it doesn't seem like you would if you don't understand the reason why Excel needs a table? That's where it lost me. I like to know all the ins and outs of how something works and why it works the way it works. It helps lead me to other things that the function can do... Simply learning the particular process by what you make a function work doesn't help you learn how to do more things with that process later. You shouldn't be teaching this if you don't understand the entire process...I'm just saying....

You get the blue-ribbon for teaching excellence! Thank you for this. Wish I would have found you last year. One thing you did not mention tho leaves me with a question - If one might need to change the table back to the regular version - how? Or is that possible? What would happen to the formatting and/or data? Silly question I guess, but still a tidbit of knowledge that might be helpful to someone someday.

Hi Thank you for the way you presentation and how you explain slowly just love how you teach. Where have you been i been looking for help like this for ages.
So coming to my question. I need the entry at the top not the bottom how can i fix this? Meaning your last entry shown in the presentation goes to the bottom I need it for myself to go to the top I need help . Thank you in advance .

Hi. I have a list of id number and name. Next on next sheet tab, i would like to divide the table into date of working, id no and name.
I dont want to repeatedly enters the name of employee. For example, 3 people work ot on monday and 4 on tuesday.
How do i make it so that when i type their id no, the name will be filled automatically on the name column?

I was interested to use your example but the link to the practice file does not work, it keeps on taking me back to this page. I just went ahead and copied the table you had done. Also, the record for Kortney Jerman has no department, since you didn't mention it, I assumed it was an error and didn't notice it. Great lesson! Thanks!

Data Entry Form, Hello Great Video and Learning Curve. Question: Can the Excel default Date Entry form be made or modified to make it larger to read and use? Also Can a macro be made to add to the worksheet that can be made for easier access to the form button to start the Data Entry Form for the non Excel persons to use?

Great tutorial, it would be great if the Data-Validation of some fields set as a drop-down reflected in the form. For example in you demo, the list of departments could be a drop-down, but the form does not allow for that.
