Before doing any of that, ask yourself will this piece of news or information be relevant a while from now? And if so how relevant to me as an individual?
Most people waste their time on news that won't even be relevant to the them the next morning let alone a year or two later, don't waste your time on things that are forgotten the moment they are uttered and not just because everyone in the world cares about a specific issue at the moment that you should also care.
The first question what do I benefit from this information as an individual?

Thats exactly what I do. I always look at the same new story on two different platforms. CNN and FOX, left right and AP. If you can get past the bias and agendas these platforms are putting out, you can focus on getting the correct info. If everyone was an independent thinker, fake or over sensationalized news wouldnt be as big of a problem as it is today.

I swear to God I personally saw how News with western source on the paper reported about the death of a suicide bomber (with dead body pic)but it was revealed to be a civilian shot in cold blood in the street by military men(Guess who? & even more pics). I NEVER trusted western media source since.

Moogle: Fine, I'm Google's long lost twin brother.
Me: Ahhh, that guy!

I haven't paid attention to the local or national news in over 10 years, I have no clue what has happened in that 10 years and my life goes on just fine. Just think of all the tense stories and worries that never affected me at all.

We should all stand up against the spreading of biased and fake news. Zero tolerance. There needs to be a change in the way media is spread to people to keep it truly impartial

Just to be clear- it seems this video is predicated on the fact that information on the internet is limitless
However, it isnt- theres so much stuff NOT on the internet

reply

We direly need this video to spread in India. Please add Hindi subtitles. Our country has been hijacked by the misinformation mafia in complicit with the government.

I personally like The Economist, Reuters, Al Jazeera and Vox.
I think that agenices like Washington Post, Fox, are biased and based on country interests.

this cannot be released at a more appropriate time. The world, especially young people, need to start thinking for itself.
