Fun fact: Magellan got his head cut of and the crew bought his head back to Spain so he was the first person to navigate around the world. And also I know this because my teacher thought me this

tREaTy of tErdEsiYas no it pronounce as TORDESILYAS. LL sounds like LY like Calle (Calye, Caballero (Cabalyero, Sevilla (Sevilya, etc. 300 plus years of Spanish colonization though.
