You left out a really cool part of this myth. It is said that Loki's wife, Sigyn, would stand eternally over her husband, holding a bowl to catch the viper's venom and thus keep it from falling on him. But every now and then, the bowl had to be emptied, giving time for a single drop of venom to hit Loki's brow. His agonizing shrieks and twisting would shake the very earth, and that is how earthquakes come to be.

I don't quite understand didn't Odin appoint Hel goddess of death or something? Could he not just have appointed someone else? There's also the part about Vahalla or something? How does the death of gods work?

RANDOM FACT: Another year, another change! After so many changes you d think the month would have had enough, but no in 8 BC the month was named Augustus, in honor of the Roman emperor Augustus.

When something goes wrong, the first thing I think is, it is Loki's fault. It saves a lot of time.
What a coincidence! We also say the same! Except we say British instead of Loki.

This artstyle is so comforting and soft. It makes you want to kiss the homies goodnight. It's unfortunate that the homies are getting shot through the chest instead.
