Charles Dickens is much more than an author, I believe he was the first prominent socialist, his works especially Oliver Twist were all about the poor and needy. this in turn gave rise to left of centre politics which has grown all over the world. millions of people have benefited because Dickens started the whole movement off.

In November. Rereading 'The Pickwick Papers' (For the umpteenth time) by a roaring fire, in a Wiltshire country pub, with a pint of bitter and all the time in the world is just bliss for me. I love Dickens.

I love Dickens. The narrator forgot to mention how beautiful his writing is; and how every character, no matter how important or obscure, is ultimately connected.

I like the plot line of great expectations, its just so hard to read it because the wording and dialog doesn't make any sense
