I'm Ecuadorian, and I've seen with my own eyes the marvelous infrastructure and culture that the Inca's had developed, sadly, this civilization was just another victim of European's colonialism. In that time, they'd argued that indigenous people in America weren't civilized, because they didn't believe in their gods nor spoke their languages, putting aside all their amazing achievements. European rules gave themselves the mission of guiding this people. The result of colonialism? Millions of deaths, cultures totally or mostly destroyed and forgotten, injustice, slavery, starvation, social inequality (which can be seen even today, and many others. When you see the indigenous people of South America (which might be direct descendants from Incas, you will see that they are small (due to bad nutrition, poor, and with sad eyes.
Of course this is not the fail of today's generation of Europeans, nor the common people that lived there during that time, this is a fail of a system which was completely irrational, and thirsty of power, that didn't care to spill rivers of blood to score them ambitions. For respect to the other parts of the planet who suffered the oppression of European colonialism, this topic mustn't be hide, but most important, this topic MUST BE recognized by the world, and the world must help these victims of these tragedies to recover and to progress, cause only in that way, human been will be a single one, and people could be in real peace.

When Pizarro and the spaniards arrive, there was a massive civil war in the Inca Empire, between the brothers Atahualpa and Waskar for the Inca throne, they were fighting each other, so the conquistadores got advantage of this, proced to convince the civilian inca people to join them so they coul be free from the Inca reign and war, obviously this was a lie and they just wanted the throne. Thats how they got a a masive advantage and proceed to govern Cusco and the Inca civilization.

History likes to tell that he Spaniards defeated all of this South American tribes like the Incas and Aztecs with sheer just Rifles and better equipment, the thing is that The rifles they brought which were Arquebus mostly failed to shoot since it was too humid, the sheer reason why the Spaniards truly won was because they brought Smallpox which easily wiped out the population of the natives since the natives werent immune.

The ancient Europeans took diversity and fun from the world. they destroyed prosperous and ancient empires only for wealth (Incas, Mayas, Aztecs, Mississippi settlements, Polynesians, empires of the Congo, etc)
Sometimes I would like to travel back in time to avoid European contact and see how the Americas could have written their own history.

I like all the tribal words belonging to the Incas, & how the narrator pronounced Francisco Pizarro. One question though, how did the early Americans find their way there? Where did they migrate from & how did they travel there considering how isolated the Americas is from the rest of the world?

If one thing had changed in history no one would be alive today. That's why I think we should all be thankful for how history took place, but be weary of our future, being the only thing we can impact.
reply

Wrong. The tiny spanish army had thousands of indigenous allies that were against the Inka empire and brutally fought against them.

Its interesting to think about what might have been had the Incas been given the same amount of time as the Roman or Egyptian empires
