From sailors who were turned into pigs, nymphs that sprouted into trees, and a gaze that converted the beholder to stone, Greek mythology brims with shape-shifters. The powerful Gods usually changed their own forms at will - but for mortals, the mutations were often unwanted. Iseult Gillespie shares how one such unnerving transformation befell the spinner Arachne. Lesson by Iseult Gillespie

Athena abusing her powers and cursing Arachne for depicting the abuse of powers by Gods reminds me of Police using police brutality against protestors protesting against police brutality

Nice video, just one thing, if You call Zeus for he's greek name then don't call Hades Pluto (hades roman name) in the same video, same with Dionysus/Baco.

This is just one of the versions of the actual myth, others include Zeus killing arachne and athena bringing her back to life as a spider.

Athena is so unfair!
Arachne was right to show the gods abusive power. Athena turning Arachne into a spider just proves her point.
