What's this bullcrap? The proper solution is in 5 warps!
Start with 2: assuming you haven't found them you know the rebels are in 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7.
wait one hour and 10 minutes, so if the rebels don't show up in 2, you know they're in 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7.
Move to 3. Now the rebels are in 4, 5, 6, or 7 and assuming they don't warp to your planet they are stuck in those four.
When you can warp again move to 5, so now they're in 4, 6, or 7.
Afterwards the rebels can move again, so if they were in 4 they necessarily moved to 3, so now they can be in 3, 6, or 7.
Move to 3, and if they're not there you know they're stuck in 6 or 7, so you have them cornered.
Move to 6 and if they're not there just wait for them to warp to you.
The sequence is 2-3-5-3-6
They never said your warps have to be aligned to rebels'. The rule is that you MAY warp every hour, but it doesn't say that you necessarily have to warp at a specific hour! If your first warp is at 3: 00 you know the rebels will warp every hour at the o'clock, but then if you didn't warp at 4: 00 there's no reason to think you should wait till 5: 00 to warp again, you can now warp at any time you want because an hour passed and your warp is ready, so you can warp at 4: 10 for example! This way you can avoid the scenario where you warp from 3 to 4 and the rebels warp from 4 to 3 at the same time.

I can do it in 6 visits. Imagine starting at the center. If that's where they were, you're done. If not, hop to one of the outermost planets.
If you happen to hop to the outermost planet on the correct arm, you've either just caught them or forced them to hop to the center planet, and you'll catch them on your return.
But if you jumped to the outermost planet on one of the two incorrect arms, they'll either hop to the center (you'll catch them on your return, or to an outer planet. They cannot at any point leave that arm, so you'll catch them when you reach that arm (or on the hop back to the center afterward.
You'll notice that this method requires 7 moves. To get it down to 6, just skip the first visit to the center, it's superfluous. All it would accomplish would be to keep them from switching from one arm you haven't even checked yet to the other arm you haven't checked yet.

Rules say the rebels MUST move and you MAY move. Just start on Planet 2 and the first hour and don't move anywhere. rules out them being on planets 1-3 because if they were on 1 they would have moved to your planet and if they were on 3 they had to move to another and can no longer be there. second hour move to planet 3. if you don't get them there you know they must be 5 or 7 because if they started on 4-6 and moved to 3 first you would have caught them when you moved the second time, and if they started on 5-7 they could have only moved to 4-6 the first time and back to 5-7 the second time or else you would have caught them had they moved to 3 instead. So third move go to planet 5. If they aren't there you know that the only place left for them to move would be to planet 6 from 7. so move there for your fourth and final move. 1 move less boiiii

Ron=2
Harry=3 I think
When Ron is asked, first He doesn't know because He knows that Harry could have seen it 1 Or 3 times, but when He learned that Harry don't know either, he realize that Harry didn't saw it only 1 times because Harry would know, so Harry saw it 3 times and when Ron says that He knows, Harry realize that the only way that He could possibly know is if He has a 2 so he understand that He saw it one More time than him!
It's my conclusion

Noone could have seen Titanic only once - he would know and either not ask, or respond No, you did. Can it be 2 and 3? If 2-times-person asked, 3-times-person has no idea, but then 2-times-person would know. If 3-times-person asked, 2-times-person would respond No, you did! since he knows, that the other one saw it 3 times - with only one time he would not have asked. So 2 and 3 cannot be the answer. What about 3 and 4?

Here's what seems like a 9-move solution to the seven planets problem: 2-2-3-4-3-4-3-6-6. The first three moves clear out one arm. The next three moves clear a second arm while preventing access to the first arm. The last three moves clear the last arm. Did I miss something? Are there even better solutions, or is 9 the minimum?

So If the east example problem was:
6
3 - 4
2
And if the actual problem was:
7
6
3 - 4 - 5
2
1
Then can anyone solve (with any number of moves) this:
9
7
6
3 - 4 - 5 - 8

If the criminals have to move every hour to an adjacent planet, and can only move every hour, why dont you just wait and watch until they take off and reach one planet so that you can warp there?
