In the apple one
Green apples have 60% of getting a non poisonous apple, the red has 40%. That is if we only need to pick one, but in this case, we don't.
In the green apple bowl, there are only ten possible three apple combinations, three of which involves the two poisonous apple, which could kill you. This means that you have 7 other combinations that is safe, having a 70% chance of living.
Meanwhile, in the red apple bowl, there are also only ten possible two apple combinations, three of which consists of the two out of three poisonous apples. This also gives a 70% chance of living to see the day.
So it doesn't matter which bowl you eat from cause you both get 70% chance of living.
To help you in how to solve it, I gave each apple a number, from 1-5 and tried every three digit combination, I then made two numbers poisonous. Now, looking at all possible combinations, i crossed out those which contains both deadly numbers. The same goes for the other bowl, i wrote all two digit combinations, then crossed out if the pair are both poisonous.

Eat from the bowl of Red Apples. Even if you eat a poison apple on the first try, you still have a 50% chance of eating a clean one, after which you're done. Conversely, after eating a clean apple on the first try, it doesn't matter if you eat a poison one next because the challenge will be complete. The fewer the permutations, the greater the odds of success.

Turned into cats? What does that even mean? These instructions need to be explained better in terms of what the implications are. Also, like two sentences before this after first round turned into cats none sense, the instructions said that it will keep going around the circle until there is a winner. So, which is it?

Why even have a chance of missing? Just take the 100% wand, take out enchantress and have a 30% chance of the next wizard missing and winning. Or you can risk having a 40% chance of winning AFTER the immediate 30% chance. Why bother trying to miss? Just take them out with certainty and rely on chance they mess up.

It's one of the most annoying riddles becuase we're not told that we can miss on purpouse.
AND YET! I found this lesson very important during mulitplayer games 1vs1vs1. For example Worms when there are only 1 worm per player left it's better to look incompetent and trick other 2 into fighting each other.

I think a specific Jean-Luc Picard quote is due here: a lie of omission is still a lie.
Once you fail to mention an important detail such as whether a forfeit move is legal in a turn-based competition, it begs to question what other details and variables could also be omitted.

Took me forever to do that math cause I dont know any fancy equations but Im pretty sure you have a. 4% more likely chance of surviving by taking the red bowl. So you should take the green bowl just to show how little you care about a slight less chance of surviving.

Aren't wands mostly used as a medium to carry out spells not store them inside, maybe if it was a magical artifact it would become way more believable. But I guess this was just to show how probabilities can affect the entire situation.

My initial gut-reaction was to take the Noether 9000 and fire it at myself. I lose, but I also separate myself from harm, as well as anyone who had expectations of my victory. Also, free wand. Free wand for traveling purposes. Dope.

Red apple cause u can eat 1 poisonus and u will be ok and one is not poisonus so u will be saved. If u choose green u will have an higher chance of death because it has 3 apples to eat.
