DONT READ DON QUIXOTE, it's one of those books sooo old that is written in a way that modern people don't understand. Literally, it's like trying to talk with medieval times folk on Europe, they speak a totally different type of English.
Yea, it's an awesome piece of history, but you would just be submitting yourself to suffering. As someone who had to do a book report of it. Smh

I remember reading this novel 5 years ago as an 11 year old kid and I loved it. The first ever novel I finished. I was so proud to tell my teacher that I finished a novel in English ( I come from a third world asian country. It felt like a huge accomplishment. I loved bragging about it in front of my class mates

Ah, Don Quijote. Although it has some bad parts in my opinion (mainly the end of the first book, it's and awesome experience reading throuth it. I don't typically enjoy reading, but this story is just something else. Please read it.

Ive read this first 150 pages and theyve both already been beaten up so many times. Sancho is already toothless. How can they possibly make it through another 650 pages without being a pile of dog food at the end?

I am currently in part 2 and still can't find why this book is loved.
And how can I perceive a character's development in wich the don is crazy all in the story.

I've heard the first few chapters deal with inflation of the time. Cervantes was influenced by the Spanish Scholastics (an early school of economists.
