By the light of the moon, a group sneaks into the woods, where they take mind-altering substances, switch it up romantically and brush up against creatures from another dimension. A Midsummer Nights Dream sees Shakespeare play with the boundary between illusion and reality - and dramatize the possibility that life is but a dream. Iseult Gillespie shares what makes this play a timeless classic. Lesson by Iseult Gillespie, directed by WOW-HOW Studio

I seen versions of Midsummer Night Dream that are high Comedy. I seen a version that was much darker with the Fairies being almost Horror Monsters. It a wonderful play and every different performance has a different take on it. This make each time you see a different group do the play, it feels like it a new story.

Which edition of shakespeares work would you recommend someone just getting into Shakespeare read? We read Romeo and Juliet and midsummer night in high school but I didnt take any courses in college that included shakespeares work. But now all of a sudden Im very interested in diving into it.

Last year I hated this book. Absolutely hated it and as such decided that maybe Shakespeare is not for me but after reading and loving Macbeth I am reconsidering my opinion. I dont know if I didn't enjoy Misummer or if the class just ruined a possibly great book for me.

THANK YOU for having the characters be dressed as Ancient Greeks! Everyone dressed them in Elizabethan costumes and up. They always forget that it takes place in Ancient Greece.

In my opinion, reality is only what you make of it. And the love one feels from the juices, that's only artificial love, which is weaker than real love.
