I signed up as a donor the moment the link popped up. If I can save a life with the ease of a blood donation, count me in. But I hope advances in gene therapy will eventually eradicate cancer of all forms. I lost beloved young family members to cancer, so I understand the pain.

I would be totally willing to be a blood donor, but unfortunately, my veins are small and they roll even with proper hydration. i'd rather not get stabbed a total of 11 times from 7 different people. (i went into shock lol.

Too bad in America and the rest of the world we are too much into not really caring people because people. dying makes more money I guess! Sounds like we need to use our own stem cells in someway!

Why can't you just take your own bone narrow when it was healthly, save it, then apply it to the same person if it ever develops cancer?

Unfortunately, I'm unable to donate bone marrow due to an autoimmune condition I have. Maybe one day we'll find a way though!
