Dig into the properties of sound to find out just how bad loud music is for your hearing. After a concert, you find it difficult to hear your friend rave about the show. It sounds like they're speaking from across the room, and it s tough to make out their voice over the ringing in your ears. But, by the next morning, the effect has mostly worn off. So what caused these symptoms? And can you go to concerts without damaging your ears? Heather Malyuk explores the properties of sound

Having Autism makes sounds that aren't that loud to a typical 1, 000% louder to us. So if we are scared of a sound or are overwhelmed by sounds at once ( which can happen) there are 2 things you can do. 1. Take us away from the sound and 2. If there is no escape, stay as far away from the sound or sounds as possible. And always be prepared for the possibility of loud noises, always bring ear protection, and please remember to be patient, we can't help it that certain noises set us off and/or scare us. #Autismawareness

I'm surprised by the topic as the answer seems obvious. but lets watch
Edit: well as always it was informative just wonder why there weren't any mentions about the sound we hear at a high pitch when you are exposed to loud noise, some sources claim it is the sound of dying hair and you will never be able to hear sound on that frequency again. Wonder if it is true.

Is it true that if our eye damages, we can use transplant for other human and ok. While we cannot do that if our ear damage?
When I go to loud sound even, I usually use noise cancelation earphone to plug in my ear. But the jack 3, 5 do not connect to anything. So it just like I pretending hearing something.

Not related to the video but to the end card:
You can't get a picture of a rose stuck in your head, or the smell of a cheeseburger on loop let me introduce you to my ptsd, intrusive thoughts, and sensory hypersensitivity

Whenever I'm using earphones my max level of sound is the first level. And for over ear headphones it's the Third level using buttons.
P. S. I don't know what their exact percentage value is.

The quotation from the novel Chocolate is wonderful. It is actually a beautiful novel; I recommend it almost to everyone I see. Really Ted Ed knows how to introduce a topic!

It kind of makes me sad how such simple things can damage our ears permanently. It s not as if I want to be exposed to those loud noises, but it still kind of bothers me
