Could it be that Roosevelt had a change of personality, knowing that he allowed the Japanese to attack Pearl Harbor. There is a base of a foundation of the antenna in Hawaii, they covered up the base so that we would not know that they had received information by radio waves through that antenna that the Japanese were on the way but they covered it up. So they wanted a war and they got it instead of just standing up and helping the British, he allowed us to get attacked so that we would get in the warm. Do you think maybe those thousands of men that died in Pearl Harbor was on the conscience of Roosevelt? Something to think about.

Acting like Roosevelt didnt want war, and that war in Europe was popular among the American people. It was the exact opposite. The America First movement was the most successful anti-war movement in American history and gained widespread support after the Nye committee investigations uncovered corrupt private interests had pushed the US into the First World War. The Greer incident, and Rainbow Five war plan leak showed that FDR had every intention of getting involved in Europe regardless of popular opinion being against it.

FDR is arguably the one of the worst Presidents in American history. From his attacks on the constitutional to his inability to really recover from the depression to his dishonesty and lack of leadership leading up to WWII. How many lives could have been saved if America had joined the war as little as six months earlier. The Nazis had two years of oil. or less. and the bulk of their military was still using horse draw carts!

Talk about self medication with liquor & tobacco (and less obvious, opium dens & snuff for the rich & powerful) WWI & II generation self medicated to cope. Anti-depressant pills and cocaine & marijuana to cope with the psychological issues would have been used but weren't as available then as now.

Roosevelt's behavior towards the American people was dishonest and manipulative. While preaching isolationism, he secretly was doing everything he could to get into the war. He was the template of the modern Democrat party. Lies, obfuscation, and abuse of power.

How shameful that the Leaders of these two Imperialist Countries are Still Lying and cheating and Stealing Foreign Assets! And, even more Immoral and Treacherous, at the expense of the Lives and Freedoms of their People!

What I have learned regarding this democratic process (passiveist); the WW2 would have been over much sooner but only until the understanding that America would eventually have no choice but to join as Alis.

An important, forgotten peice of history is that England was planning for a war with America, after WW1, they believed America was their future economic and military competition! Weird history!

It's so sad to think Roosevelt knew of all the loss of life and gas chambers but still chose not to get involved. Year over year he just allowed it to happen until he had no other choice.

WW2 history is the best even though it was the worst war in human history and lead to creation of nuclear weapons which now stand as a greater threat to humanity long after WW2.

Wasn't it rather coincidental that the American carrier fleet left Pearl Harbor 2 weeks before the attack. Four carriers gone in the South Pacific, the Japanese couldnt find them.

War was so much nicer when we could evacuate the women and children.
But now we eliminate them as they try to flee, or against the Geneva Convention just level everything.

If USA had entered the war sooner would it had been shorter? Would Japan attach Pearl Harbor if our war machine had started? I do wonder.
