When confused gullible emotional folks are fooled & indoctrinated to believe an imaginary God & other made-up stuff like: a messenger/son, a holy book, resurrection, splitting the moon, parting the Red Sea, surviving 750 bullets of a firing squad, walking on water, etc, are sacred, the acquired dogmatism & fanaticism will cause them motivated ignorance & deception while playing mental acrobatics to defend the sacredness.

Someone with a true Orthodox soul knows that icons are priceless. and that the poor throughout the ages. of ALL religions. willingly pour out their love & livelihood & lives for the GOD of their hearts. A billion dollars for GOD is a POOR offering. A glorious Cathedral for the poor is a MERCIFUL gift. GOD Himself WILL judge ALL our offerings. So BOG OFF BBC! Secular souls can not judge the things of the Spirit.

As an agnostic I have no sympathy to the call of God. As a humanist I'm so glad that the precious history destroyed by Communist thugs is being recovered and preserved. Obviously, a bit high risk in a gangster capitalist economy. A perfect description.
