The story follows Estonian ex-farmer Albert, who now lives in England fasx56: Estonians are a people who have suffered a lot with the devastation of WW 2; they have a rich culture full of music and dances of all types during their celebrations. It is up to America and Western Europe to make sure they are not occupied again. Fortunately this Documentary was made in the 1990s when many of the WW 2 generation was still alive including Albert and he was able to tell his story, now only a very few are left, wish the best for their country.

I lived off and on in Estonia for almost a decade. It is a beautiful country with intelligent friendly people. I know most of the country reasonably well and its power over me will reside forever. Long live Free Estonia!

Very moving. My parents also met in a displaced persons camp, but they were Lithuanian. They never went home.
