Death and the Magician. No mention is made here of his friendship and eventual breakup with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Many thanks are due to him for exposing false impersonators of seance meetings eventually proving that they were misleading the general public. It also showed him to be a true character just like Sherlock Holmes using his art to expose the fraudsters. But it shows the two sides of the same coin where Sir Doyle the creator of Sherlock Holmes who used cold logic to solve his cases actually supporting people doing such false spiritual practices. There is no conclusive proof of anybody having contacted the neither world using seance meetings and Houdini proved it to all concerned.

Missing a little context there when you call him a tiny Hungarian. The Hungarians hated Jews at the time and participated in Pograms. This is why families like Houdini's fled to the US. If anything he should be called a Tiny American as the US was the only place to willingly accept Jews at the time and give them a chance. I highly doubt that if you traveled back in time to ask him what he was he would have any kind words for Hungary. I bet he would proudly say he was an American.

My Grandfather actually met Harry Houdini several times while working circus tours and acts on the road. I remember him telling me about him my gramps said in a nutshell he was a very intelligent, mysterious man and when he spoke you wanted to soak up everything he said he really admired him a lot and he was quite approachable not snobbish Ive read many of his books ever since!

Every time I see Stonehenge now after watching that mr beast video where he sends his friends to the 8 wonders of the ancient world, his buddy who went to Stonehenge definitely had the least amount of fun, and pretty much was like yup I saw the rocks. What now. Its cold and rainy and theres only like two bars or something like that

I very much enjoy Copperfield's work, but every time I see the museum, I get angry that this stuff isn't displayed publicly. That seriously needs to change at some point.
