There's really alot wrong in this video. The biggest is your description of JFK and Marilyn Monroe practically living there together. They had a consensual affair consisting of ONE intimate time together. That's it. I'm not sure if it happened in Palm Springs but possibly. The rumors of the Kennedy's having a tempestuous time with poor Marilyn is just wrong. Repeating a lie, many people repeating the same lie and embellishing it repeatedly is just wrong, and can't make it the truth. Your videos are usually MUCH better than this. There's so much juicy stuff out there you can keep the world titillated for years with minimal research.

Greetings from the City of Palm Springs. It's still nuts out here, we've got new snow on the mountain and desert flowers blooming outside the front door. The Marilyn statue was temporary in 2012, but it's rumored to be getting a permanent home at some point. (And Valentino's breakthrough film was called The SHIEK not The Shriek. It helps to be crazy to live here year round. Happy to say the Mid-Century Tiki Gang is beginning to truly flourish once more.

Ive lived in Palm Springs my entire life and worked in the local hotel business. Might I suggest a look into Melvyns and Ingleside Inn? I worked there in the 90s and it was quite the place to see and be seen. It has a long history of celebrity drama, including accidentally rejecting Steve McQueen and Ali MacGraw on opening night because he was wearing a t-shirt and blue jeans. Lots of stories! I highly recommend checking it out!

I wonder if Monroe really committed suicide or if she just got whacked. She was a bit unstable, and she had a history of attempting suicide, but she also ran with the mafia. She even had a dog she named Mafi. Personally I choose to believe she faked her own death, and is at this very moment alive, living with Elvis, Andy Kaufman, and 2pac on an island somewhere in the Caspian sea. Don't judge me.

I was born and raised there. I have seen every inch of Palm Springs. I have met alot of people who can tell you some amziing stories. I worked for a construction crew who remodeled the Frank Sinatra house in Palm Springs. We remodeled the Betty ford home. I lived directly across form Sony Bonos house. Palm Springs is very interesting place with alot of history and secrets.

Juicier than Hollywood, the New York and Rhode Island scandals were awesome. I especially like the story of Gloria Vanderbilt's mother, who was sued by Gertrude Vanderbilt(Gloria's aunt) for custody of the child because her mother was spending her trust fund on living lavishly in Europe, getting engaged to german Princes, having lesbain affairs with royals and so on.
