The two films (Splendor in the Grass and the Star) are almost coincidental to Wood's death. She was on a ship called the Splendour and the stunt double in the Star almost drowned. Robert Wagner had affairs with multiple women as well, he even had some with men. Wood and Wagner stayed together for 15 years (1957-1962) and then divorced. A year after the divorce, Robert then married the actress Marion Marshall who had a divorce with Stanley Donen. Marshall and Wagner stayed together until they divorced in 1971. In 1972, Wagner married Wood again and they would be together until her death in 1981. Wagner's current wife is Jill St. John, they have been married since 1990. To me, Jill looks a bit like Natalie, just not as beautiful. I got heavy suspicions on Robert Wagner, Davern had some good evidence to be honest. If this is true, I hope Wagner gets punished before he kicks the bucket. There is a lot of evidence that goes against Wagner anyway, I think he should be fined a large amount.

One thing that everyone involved and not involved can agree on is that the 3 individuals who were involved were absolutely lit. So foggy recollection from the remaining doesnt seem unordinary imo.
Next thing is the girl being afraid of water angle seems a bit exaggerated by her sister. She was clearly comfortable enough to vacay on a yacht being completely surrounded by water.
Next is the fact that she was beaned up on pills means she was definitely super faded and that. 14 bac normally would be too crazy. But when mixed w/ pills its enough for eventual limp body black out. Definitely contributed to her saving herself if she was alive when entering the water. Check her lungs for water.
Last thing. She was definitely smashing Chris Walkin. Out of everything that was never given clear answers publicly, them 2 havin an affair is the most obvious.

Much is made of Natalie's phobia of dark water. but she was really drunk, and angry, and I've seen many a phobia disappear completely from enraged drunks.

One of the most Naturally Beautiful Actresses ever! She was Murdered, too many road blocks with her fear of wide open bodies of water. Ive had a Seizure on a boat once. Fell down almost died from Browning if it wasnt for my best friend whom pulled me out of the water. I had know Bruises or lacerations just a throbbing tung from bitting it. Along with all my muscles hurting from the friction of the Seizure heating my muscles up, It just doesnt fell right. Her death. 0. 14 is no where near blackout drunk. I spent the night aboard the Splendour the night after she died because Doug Bombard wanted to protect the boat from souvenir hunters. I made overtime all night so heck yeah. Two guys had cleaned the boat completely before any investigators got there. Both were gay and both later died of AIDS so it will remain a mystery. I spoke to them and they said the boat was a mess with wine and broken glass all over the main salon. Kinda weird no one cleaned anything - even glass pieces - that night or in the morning. By the time I got to the boat at sundown, it was spotless. It will remain a mystery.

The fact that Christopher Walkens comments are vapid is a testimony to his general aging. Its a sad story. And the death of Natalie wood is heartbreaking especially for perhaps the man who loved her, and her sister.
The fact that death threats, confusing testimonies and misleading reports our associate with his case, its classic Hollywood. Money talks. Or in this case money bribes silence. Think about how many murders have happened in the past of affluent celebrities they have been covered up to save face of one institution or another.

One thing that was mentioned a while ago was that Wagner told one of the original detectives that a wine bottle broke due to the movement/waves in the ocean but decades later Wagner wrote in one of his books about himself that he purposely broke the wine bottle on a table out of anger. Someone (a newer detective decades later I think) asked one of the original detectives what he thought of the change of story and he said he was surprised or something like that. The fact alone that he refused to let the search team look for her, is very telling. Also, why was Wagner very visibly disheveled and sweaty? That, too, is extremely suspicious.
It sux that she got abused by this man for so long, cheated on countless times, only to die by his hands! This seems to happen a lot to women, especially the good ones.
No justice at all! If Christopher Walken had any integrity, he'd speak up about the truth and I know he likely was threatened, hushed by Robert.

Alcohol was consumed in large doses and a fight ensued Wagner pushed her, Natalie fell into the water and the rest is history. The question is why Wagner took so long to call for help and why didnt he himself jumped in the water to get her! Perhaps he was so drunk and enraged that she would let her stay in the water longer to teach her a lesson.

I think Wagner's delay in calling for help says it all. He was probably hoping that if he waited, they wouldn't find her. There's NO way Natalie Wood would have tried to leave the boat herself. It doesn't even make sense. I think Walken knows the truth and has kept quiet all those years out of guilt and fear.

My theory is that after the argument in the room spilled out onto the deck, Wagner put Wood into the dingy as punishment knowing her fears, and to let her cool off. Wagner goes back in to drink some more and forgets she is out there. Terrified, Wood tries to pull herself back onto the boat and falls overboard.

You're spot on. Except Davern has never admitted to seeing RJ throw her overboard. I believe that's what happens and that Dennis is still covering it up. Perhaps waiting for RJ to die. As for Rasure, it seems he was either paid off or is afraid to admit what he knows or believes.

Hmm I've always thought Wagner killed her, accidently or not. We can only hope that the Truth of that night comes out of someone's mouth before he dies. If it was truly Wagner, I'd like to see her daughters face when she hears it - she's always had that mans back.
