Everything We Know About the World's Most Isolated Tribe

There are about 100 uncontacted native groups around the world, but none of them are more isolated than the Sentinelese tribe. Located in the northern Andaman Islands of India, these indigenous people conscientiously separate themselves from the outside world. In fact, their isolation has likely saved lives, as nearby tribes have suffered losses at the hands of outsiders who carry diseases or create hostility. Explorers commonly exploit native people and kill the animals they hunt for food

do we know anything about what the wildlife is like on this island? I'd be curious to know what animals live around them what resources are available to them and what the terrain of the island is like. What is their source of freshwater even? There clearly is a sufficient amount of it from the fact its heavily wooded but is it all from rainfall or do they have a underground spring of some kind. I dont want anyone to attempt to visit there again but i find it hard to believe we didnt learn anything about any of these details from the times we already have visited. Does anybody know of a video where i could find this type of stuff out i think ive learned everything i can about the people already but its hard to find information about the actual island itself i just want to be able to better picture what there world is probably like.

There are rules like this in NE too.
I don't remember which state but other Indians can't go and settle there because people want to preserve their culture, language and lifestyle but many states convert to Christianity and forget their own culture.
Some States are demanding NRC remove all illegal immigrants from their state because they made their own illegal homes and their culture and language are pretty different ( I am talking about Bangladeshi )
I hope people will understand and help them to protect their culture and language

I would like to see what would happen if you blindfolded a hand full of these people and plopped them in Times Square, showed them VR headsets, have them watch a 3d imax movie like avatar, bring them to an all you can eat buffet then take them in an open door helicopter ride above Manhattan. Then bring them back and have them explain what they saw to their friends. This experiment also requires us to learn their language but for fun lets just say we understand what they say now. (No sentinels were injured during this thought experiment)

To anyone that is mocking that man. go ahead. Just know you probably dont have a shade of heart that he did for humanity whether you think it was foolish or not (I sure dont. He was ready to die to try to give them a message that most of us easily have nowadays to freely accept or reject. Even in his death he held no spite. After our deaths we may see the value of his efforts vs ours. But I get it, just leave folks alone. But I do pray for the souls on that Island that may want something beyond that island.

Respect to the Indian government for working so hard to keep people away.
They clearly dont want to be bothered. They didnt ask for this, leave them alone. Although maybe someone should slip them a lighter I feel like they would enjoy that
Edit: K its actually really cute that the Indian government checked in on them after the 2004 tsunami. Theyre like yeah, theyre kind of angry and they fire arrows at us but theyre our uncontacted island friends and we take care of them damn it.

I think maybe theyre hostile towards visitors because they may perceive some natural disasters as attempts from the outside world to kill them. I also imagine after the visit they had in the 90s when they were given food gifts, some of them got sick and died. They probably assumed they were poisoned by the outsiders and re confirmed what they already thought. But these are just guesses

Or it's a secret government stronghold and this story was concocted or stretched to keep the secret. I mean think about it, constant military patrols never has an honest or wholesome ring to it. The fact that we all want to believe there is some link to our primitive pasts is just icing on the cake. :)

So if a plane or cruise ship with women and children wreck on the island, then you guys think it's okay for these freaks to kill them? They need to be taught to allow quarter for shipwrecked individuals. If they don't have the ability to understand that, then they need to be wiped out.

I bet seeing that helicopter was a trip to these people just imagine primitive man who never evolved in the world as we know it today kind of spooky now think you are unhappy with your life today in 2022 need to see this imagine the insight they may have and we will never know
reply

My question is. what do they think about modern technology? Do they even know that the motorboats and ships passing are other people? What about the helicopter and airplanes? Could it be they know about modern technology but don't want to use it like the Amish

When u think about it, this shows that a larger more advanced nation or society will protect less civilized groups in order to persevere their culture. What if thats what the aliens did to us. They set a huge exclusion zone around the Milky Way.
reply

What do you mean the rules don't apply to them? This tribe can just go killing people for no good reason, and you say that it is people who venture on the island who don't respect the rules? I am sorry, trespassing shouldn't be a capital offense.
reply

The Island and its People are certainly quite an Enigma! It's hard to believe in this day and age, that there are still tribes of people who live in such a primitive way. Papua New Guinea and South America are still such a mystery!
reply

Maybe if the Europeans didnt come and kidnap them (with the 2 elders dying at that) they mightve been a bit more receptive. Like y is it okay to just go places and kidnap ppl n think theyll ever be cool with anyone?

What Part Of DO NOT ENTER He Didn't Understand. It's A Simple Message, Why Go In A Restricted Area? It's Illegal Additionally He Bribed Fishermen To Take Him There. Well TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED

Sounds like first recent contact could have resulted in a few deaths from our diseases. Makes sense why they buried the idiot on the beach, like what you do with anything foul and diseased.

I wanna get a group of around 39 men, well be well armed and take over their Land.
Every man will have his turn with every woman, and we shall then create our own nation.
Who's with me?

reply

Things that destroy culture and its people such as religion, disease, viruses, idea, politics, and others. I agree theyre better left alone, cause we all civilize people are the worst.

If I played a drinking game where I watched these videos and took a shot every time the British empire is the reason for some crap or other, I would keel over within minutes probably
reply

I wonder what would happen if you went to that island with either a blowtorch, a lighter and some hairspray, or a book of matches. Making fire from nothing would probably blow their minds
