Weird History presents Timeline 1973. Hop back on the nostalgia train, because Weird History's Timeline is taking you back to 1973. It would be a year of Elvis in Hawaii, the sad demise of Bruce Lee, and Marlon Brando's refusal to accept an Oscar. Get your pet rock ready because Timeline: The '70s is going retro

The US pulled out of Vietnam and now decades later Communist China is planning world domination and is engaging in asymmetric warfare against the US. After the fall of the USSR would have been a good time to wipe out Communism worldwide. Now it's poised to take over worldwide.

Dark side of the Moon has to be started when the lion roars at the beginning of OZ. The album also needs to be put on repeat as it's only about 45 mins long. Also, the animated Disney Alice in wonderland synchs with The Wall. Your welcome

Wish timeline had included the fact that sasheen littlefeather actually pulled an Elizabeth Warren and is NOT Native American. Pretty much lied about her family for victim points. Cant believe that shit existed even back then lol

It was a crazy fun time! I remember many parents & grandparents thought the country was going to hell & rock n roll was evil - lol. I would love tp go back to that time for a few months & experience that time with an adult mind.

1973 is good year in my memory. I was 12, and all I cared about was coping with junior high school. The next year, my sweet grandmother died and we moved away from my childhood home. I want to live again in 1973

O. J. Simpson was already an actor, before his pro football days, as early as 1968's Season 3 Episode 3 of Dragnet 1967 Community Relations where was cast as potential recruit.

Why would you consider live and let die the only good song by Paul McCartney and wings? They had many awesome songs. Who are you to tell McCartney fans that thats the only good song by Wings

Woah. Imagine how Thomas Bradley must feel. Knowing his grandfather was probably a slave, I can't imagine how proud his family felt with that win!
Generational wealth of the social kind.

Schools should be showing these year videos to students. There medds to be more emohasis on history in the USA. but i suppose people would argue about the facts even if they are correct.

Sacheen was not of native American blood. This was found out sometime later but Im wondering if Marlon Brando Avenue the truth. You forgot to include that bit of information in this video.

My house was built in 72. Was curious to know what life was like for the family living in it their first year, what music filled the walls, and what shows were played on the TV

I love these videos, but I take exception to what you stated about Paul McCartney and Wings. Live and Let Die is always going to be a banger, but Band on the Run slaps also

Fact check. Billie Jean King was the SECOND ranked female tennis player, NOT the first. Bobby Riggs had actually defeated the first ranked Margaret Court in May 13, 1973.

1: 24 people need to get the notion of this dickbag being a single performer out of their heads. elvis sucked and was severely overrated and had an entire band backing him.

They found out that Bruce Lee used a bit of cocaine. I wonder if that may of had something to do with his death. Either way, one of the coolest dudes ever put on earth

Live And Let Die's lyrics are so dumb, I'd believe they were written by a preschooler. Get triggered, then go read those lyrics without music, and see how right I am.

1973 to 2022, about 63 million abortions were performed in the U. S. Now Roe v. Wade is overturned allowing states to determine their own abortion regulations.

lets be real here if that male tennis player didnt have the massive amount of pressure on his shoulders from saying that he probly would have won

I was 13. I remember that news report of the first cell phone. I also remember walking through the newly-built Twin Towers with my mother.
