Did you ever wonder if the great stories of ancient mythology, tales of the men behind the Egyptian pyramids and the rulers of the fabled cities of ancient Anatolia, were real? Well, if that's the case, then you're in luck - there are indeed some notable true stories behind myths. For example, the Great Pyramid was partially built by the architect Imhotep, who was then turned into a god. Started from the bottom of the pyramid, now we here! Deb: Lancelot did not exist until the Queen of France got bored with the guys were gone on various crusades, so she bugged the trouveres to do romances, and what do you know, Lancelot became a knight of Arthur's and a Frenchman.
Peace and roses,

Probably a form of planetary evolution. Belief is a powerful thing especially when people are desperate enough to make something happen. When they start looking around for a savior and along comes a guy that even remotely fits the description a rumor spreads and sometimes that s all you need to take things up to a higher level. From a military perspective a legend serves the dual purpose building morale while inciting fear and confusion in the enemy. From a political perspective divine providence can play a role as a ticket to acquiring allegiance since a relationship with whatever they put their faith in existed long before the legend ever manifested. If your brother Apollo tells you to follow him don t. That type of movement is a path to destruction a genuine rapport takes time and a reputation of established trust. You need a long time then maybe another time and perhaps even half a time after that to fully understand where that dude actually is. Anybody follows me I ll take them the hell out with extreme prejudice. I m not about that life. I d be damned before I let some disgusting human put me to the test. Your stamp of approval is about as meaningful to me as a butt pimple.

Fun fact: Speaking of King Arthur, the book The Last Legion stablishes him as the son of Romulus Augustus, the last Roman Emperor in the West. Therefore, Arthur could be considered, ot only as a symbol of british patriotism, but also as part of Rome's Immortal Legacy

When a group of monks were digging at Glastonbury Hill in the 1190s, it was said that they came across two bodies and a grave marker that read: Here lies entombed King Arthur, on the Isle of Avalon, with Guenevere his second wife.

Speaking of Ihmotep, everytime I see the famous The Mummy meme, I cannot help but think what the real life builder would say if he knew that, 5000 years after his death, people still remember him, but not exactly as an omnipotent God.

Mythologies have always fascinated me. They often seem so majestic or sometimes hideous. Nevertheless it's very convenient to think that some of these were real or could be out there somewhere even today.
