Those who woke up in Oahu, Hawaii on December 7th, 1941, had no idea they were about to experience one of the darkest days in modern military history. Over 2, 400 Americans perished in the attack where air raid sirens blared, Japanese bombers filled the sky, and every second counted.

Another spoiler alert: The post-war occupation of Japan was focused on creating a new democratic constitution and ridding Japan of its militaristic governing structure and oligarchy of war industries. This effort was successful beyond all imagination and today Japan is a peaceful, friendly ally of the US. Americans and Japanese are good friends as peoples. The war was a tragedy but true peace was created afterward, a further testament to The Greatest Generation.

The good guys won
I wish I could post the poll off Twitter from right winger Elijah Schaffer where when he asked if the good guys won WWII, the majority said No.
Then he posted another where 75% said they would support their kids if they were Nazis but not if they were gay.
This is where we are in America now.

Pacifism is a noble virtue but there are individuals out there who don't care about virtues and they need to be stopped when they become aggressive and choose to endanger the lives of others.
I'd find it hard to be a pacifist when bombs start raining down and my friends are burning like a Roman candle.

I knew a girl who was an exchange student in high school. She ended up in Japan. It was a great experience but the first night was apparently very awkward.
The Japanese host family played the pearl harbor movie. Both my friend and the host family would periodically apologize

If Dr planned the attack on Pearl Harbor. He was culpable for everything that took place because he wanted to get into war with Germany. This is an indisputable fact the United States killed its own military members to get itself into WWII

0: 01 There is a science fiction film called The Final Countdown (1980) about a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier that goes back in time to the day before the attack on Pearl Harbor.

That movie about the Pearl Harbor attack starring Ben Affleck was very historically INACCURATE. Tora Tora Tora was a movie closer to what really happened, but still not fully accurate.

1: 27 I wonder if December 7th was the day chosen to attack Pearl Harbor because the first U. S. state (Delaware) was admitted on December 7th (in 1787.

Don't bother watching Michael Bay's Pearl Harbor. Watch Tora Tora Tora. It was made in the 60s but much more accurate that Michael Bay movie.

If you think the attack on Pearl Harbor or 9-11 was something, just wait until China attacks, and I don't think you'll have to wait long.

Very good episode, but wish it was a little longer cause there is more. Also, not sure if you have done a video on D-Day?

I would enjoy watching your take on the Battle of Little Big Horn and any US Revolutionary or Civil War battles. Thank you.
